im pretty sure its not organic thats why im wondering. (for soil)http://www.grotek.net/products/guide/product.asp?code=calmax
Why would you want to use that nasty stuff, go to your farmer supply and get you some powdered limestone for 2 or 3 dollars and it will do the same thing and your plants needs lime anyway.im pretty sure its not organic thats why im wondering. (for soil)http://www.grotek.net/products/guide/product.asp?code=calmax
Better yet sprinkle a little over top of the soil and water it afterwards, the water will wash it all down thru the soil area just like it would if it rained.kk thanks for the advice. i already have my plants in the ground, so can i put the dolomite lime on the top and mix it in with the soil?
What planet are you from where blood isn't organic? The lime will work you can also put in rock dust it's not the same as the lime it's better. Blood meal and bone meal are good. The blood meal is better but it's not organic as it's made from dry blood.
Peace
Now why would you say blood isn't organic? Anything made in nature by nature without anything from humans is organic and natural, this includes the actual carcass of the creature and all it's contents. The blood meal is better but it's not organic as it's made from dry blood.
Because of Mad Cow, swine (pig) blood is used now. At least mine is derived from pig blood.Being from tx, you know I'd be lying if I said I cared about the fact that it comes from slaughtering one of gods creatures, however I can't get over that whole arsenic and mad cow disease thing...scary stuff....
Have you considered this with plain bone meal:Because of Mad Cow, swine (pig) blood is used now. At least mine is derived from pig blood.
