I lived in Courtland as a kid, and remember watching them build the old three corner tower. Had breakfast at Wimpy's with another denizen from Locke, this morning.
Al the Waps, that has to ring a bell. Courtland, isn't that where the Pear festival is held? I remember acres and acres of Pear trees.I lived in Courtland as a kid, and remember watching them build the old three corner tower. Had breakfast at Wimpy's with another denizen from Locke, this morning.

My cat's a character. He's always nearby when I'm outside.
He loves rolling in dust, and if he gets stuff stuck in his fur, he'll jump up on my desk and demand brushing. The brush sits next to my mouse.
Was there in the mid 70s, just 2 seasons. Worked all over but I really liked being outside in the flumes, beat the hell out of the warehouse stacking bags and getting sugar dust in every crack.. rash central..lolLOL!
I worked there in '69-'71 and again in the late 70's. Sample Hop, and later equipment operator.
