voting no on this because it does not go far enough is bonkers. it would be like voting against medical mj because it is not full scale legalization.

and voting no because this bill does not free the people in jail? again, bonkers. a no vote on this is much more a kick in the face to their hopes.

never thought i would see the day where people are advocating against legalizing cannabis on a cannabis growing website.

can't wait to watch this thing pass in november despite the best efforts of a few misguided stoners and staunch social conservatives.

I didnt intimate anything fdd , you are once again coming away with stuff i didnt say , and now you seem to think i hate pot..i can see perhaps you dont comprehend what im actually sayin , how else do you come up with these ideas ?

Not everybody is a medical patient , would you wish that on a child ? I didnt say a kid was doomed to BK because he watched anyone smoke pot , ill try again , fact is a kid will not be employed at most mundane jobs and up if testing positive for pot , its not a difficult thing to grasp.
Why would you care what my opion is on pot ? Ive smoked for more years than i care to remember , its a monkey on a persons back.

i didn't make this up.

i guess you love monkeys then? my mistake. :)

it's more than a few. it's pretty much split down the middle. there is a poll here somewhere. i started this thread simply to show that there is more than one option here.

Do you disagree with my point ? Are you saying any person can find a worthwhile job these days testing positive for drugs ? I think you'll find your mistaken.Even walmart wont keep a pot smoker.

who is this kid you keep speaking of?
Play silly buggers all you like , you know fine well what the conversation is.

I live in Maine, the same group that got the MMJ laws expanded is now collecting sigs. for full legalization and taxation.
They got it right this time and put the actual tax of $20 per Oz. into the wording.....all the fees are written in ( I think the license to grow up to 100 plants is $100) , id assume its so the state cant rape the law like they did to the MMJ expansion.

If it makes it to the ballot I'll be voting yes. I'm more than happy to be able to pay a $20 per oz tax and a couple hundred in license fees to be able to legally grow legally for a living.......the idea of being able to grow without stealth or worries makes me hard.

Take what you can get, and always ask for more!

That's survival.
Be it an organism, a business, or a movement.
This is a big and important step IMO.
Win or lose on this, the fight must go on!
And, this is a big foothold in the "War on Drugs" for our side (Stoners).
Jack's 40 year old plan to jump over the mountain hasn't worked for 40 years!
Maybe he should have been trying for footholds like this the whole time?
A person unwilling to compromise, is unwilling to be civilized.

Personally, I think it might be better for kids to actually see responsible use of milder drugs like pot, alcohol, caffeine, etc.. I think when parents just say 'don't do it, it's forbidden' and pretend their kids won't be exposed, it's more likely to lead to kids going overboard when they do get around to trying things out. I think being used to the idea of things being used responsibly and in moderation is a good thing. I guess my parents leaned more toward just sort of pretending that drugs didn't exist. When I got the chance, it was pretty much all or nothing. Moderation? As a younger guy, never heard of it.

Why the hell would anyone want to work for a soul-sucking, community-crushing craptastic corporate monster like Wal-Mart? Seriously... if that's who YOU are worried about impressing, I think you need to reassess your priorities.

And silly buggers what? They and I are calling you out on your rhetoricals. And that is all you and your "Joe Kid-Without-A-Brain" are.... rhetorical tripe that I'd expect from Drug Czar's office. Your last comment which didn't make it into the quote is probably the most telling thing about you, though....

Wonderful , your contribution to the world , paraphenalia..do you plan to keep the kids in the family business ?
That's the sort of comment I'd expect from someone who views cannabis and everything related as dirty, wrong or immoral. Fullmoon Kid is a good name for you... much of what you say is pure lunacy.

I would damn proud if my kids get involved and learn to enhance their lives with cannabis.

Living the Wal-Mart, corporate-America, nanny-state lifestyle, you can be certain of that, man. BTW, nice glass FDD.
