Is 91 degrees to high for my plants?

I just started flowering today. I switched to my 150 watt hps for my single female plant. Now its summer time where i live and it gets pretty hot. Ive made an intake hole in the floor of my closet to bring in the cool fresh air from under the house. So without the intake vent my closet would get about 96 with the light on and with the vent it now gets to about 91. I think thats as cool as I'm gonna get it. so will my girl be o.k. at 91? I'm looking for any ideas that can help me bring the temp down. I'll ost pics tmrw.

if it has air flow i would say yes because my plants are outdoor and its 100 degrees outside and there alive

I have never grown indoors, but oudoors where I grow it gets above 100 degrees and my plants seems to be ok with it. SO you should be good with 91.

91 is fine try and keep the humidity down tho High on both of those makes your garden more prone to silly mold and disease . Just try and make sure the temp is only dropping and raising within 10-15 degrees [76 min low 91 max high]

Yeah 85 is hot even with C02 imo. Also running high temp (85 +) with low humidity(below 40%) for too long will literally work the plant to death and the plant cant breathe.

You'll get the best results with temps in the mid 70's, that being said; It'll grow in your heat, but not to its max potential.

Dont lose sleep over it. I have been growing for a year and my box runs about 90 and I have never had a problem.

put another hole in the ceiling and put at least a 250 cfm fan in there. just an idea. if you put a hole in the floor..what's another hole in the ceiling.

85 is the low end of where CO2 gives great results. You can take them up to 95 degrees or even slightly higher with CO2.

The increased CO2 allows the plant to have smaller openings for CO2 collection, which allows the plant to retain more water and tolerate heat better.

At 91 you'll still have a healthy plant, but your buds will be fluffier than they would be at lower temps.

Can you try flowering at night, to take advantage of the cooler night air? How close is your plant to the light? It doesn't have to be inches away. A lot of people try to keep their plant tips as close to the light as they can, which is good for yield, but not so good for taste. Raise the light a little to lower temps.

Thanxs to everyone who has replied. Well it looks like I'm not gonna be able to beat the heat. What I'm gonna do now is save up and buy a portable ac and some how get it to work in my grow room.

portable ac's are wonderfull i have one i got from homedepot for 350.00 had it 3 years with no problems, just vent it through a wall to a nother room or to the atticc anywhere other than your grow room and watch your temps fall!!

go on gumtree (if your uk) to buy a second hand AC or try ebay for a refurbished one.

So I took the big leap. I got a portable AC. I have it venting through that hole i made in my floor that i made earlier. My grow room now stays between 70 and 75 and my plant is loving it. Got a nice one from ebay and only payed 120 for it. A good deal I think, but whatever I'm happy and so is my girl. I just ordered some seeds from attitude seed bank. Some Skunk Haze!!! Now that I got everything that I need I cant wait to get those going.

Do these portable units need a water supply?

While my electric bill sucks, it's still nothing compared to the money saved not spending on dank and I'd like to look into this, my temps are mid 80's and I'd like to lower them so I can get more color in my buds when they finish.
