ok i got a question. My plant is about 5 weeks into flower, but the main cola and the taller parts of the plant have these small hairless buds, alot of stem, and theyre smaller than the lower buds. Its my first time and Im guessing my temps got out of hand near the top of the plant, either that or they were too close to the lights (42 watt cfls). you can check out my grow journal if youd like at

Hey, I am in the process of building a small grow room (10x4x4) under a wooden skateboard ramp and I want to make sure no smell will come out. I alraedy made a carbon filter using a computer fan, and the room has a 12''x4" vent and a fan circulating the air. I will probably seal all of the cracks with calk as well. I will probably only be growing clones (5- 20) and budding two plants at a time. I was wondering if there was any other way of eliminating potential odor. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hello again ! so 2/4 of my white dwarfs sprouted. I have two in a 3 gallon, and 2 in 8 oz cups. Temp is 73-78, humidity 50-60. I helped one plant shed its seed. I gently touched it and it came off. There seems to be a green ball. I was wondering how long until it shows first set of leaves?

10x4x4 with a computer fan as exhaust??? You'll need a lot more than that...get an inline fan, that thing isn't nearly enough...oh and to answer your question, try looking into ONA(odor neutralizing agent) blocks...

need a little help with advanced nutrients ph down pure concentrate. just wondering how much should be used to get a .5 ph drop in 5 gallons. i tried adjusting it last night with 30ml in 25 gallons and it shot it way way down. no harm done im i dont have my plants yet, i was just trying to stabilize my reservoir before i get my clones. right now ive got a shit ton of buckets aerating the chlorine out, and am planning on working this until i have it figured out but some help would be great.

a second thing, the people at htg supply (local store) told me to use pro-tekt to ph up, which i could probably just use tap water anyways, but it was a supplement i figured i would have on hand anyways, any help in that area as far as measurements go would be cool as well.

i'm pretty pleased with htg right now, i was down there last night (they just opened here about a month ago) and they gave me a free shirt. haha probably cause i told em i drove 30 mins to deal with them and had their lighter in my pocket. that and i told em i drove passed my homeboy's family's hydro store to deal with them lol.

i was wondering if anyone also may have had some info on how the perfect ph buffer products, i think AN makes one, and if so does it work well? i'm trying to make this as low maintenance or as easy as possible, because sometimes i will have to be on the road for a week at a time and my girlfriend will be maintaining the grow. i plan on premixing 5 gallon buckets of what she can reup the res with to make it easy on her.

i think i may have gotten it down, just added 5ml to a 5 gallon bucket, and believe i observed a .5-1.0 drop.

any info that anyone could give me with their experiences would be great still =-D

edited to add:
i think i got a grip on it now, managed to get a bucket in the 5.0-5.5 range first try. i think i just read the dropper thing wrong, now i'm pretty good at telling the colors apart XD
