Lol. A low "brith-rate" as you so simply put it is always and has always been a sign of a developing country
Europe sure is developing quite well! It is going to be predominately Muslim soon.

Birth rates in European countries recently have reached a "historic low," with the most "precipitous" and recent fall occurring in Eastern Europe, the New York Times reports. All European countries recorded birth rates of more than 1.3 children per woman in 1990, but in 2002, 15 counties had rates below 1.3 children per woman, and six countries had rates between 1.3 and 1.4 children per woman. According to a report released recently by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, France's birth rate of 1.8 makes it the only European country with the possibility of maintaining its current population through births. In addition, the average age at which women have their first child in many countries has increased from the early 20s to around 30 in the last 20 years. European Union officials have estimated that there will be a shortage of 20 million workers in E.U. countries by 2030 if current birth rates are sustained. According to the Times, access to contraception and abortion "has turned childbearing into a choice rather than an act of nature" on the continent. In Eastern Europe, the dissolving of policies in many former Communist countries that provided child care, education and housing for couples with children has "dramatically changed the equation," the Times reports. Emerging private markets in Eastern Europe have not adequately replaced annulled government programs, and women have increased opportunities for education and careers, Jitka Rychtarikova -- a professor of demographics at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic -- said. Almost all governments on the continent are increasing incentives to have children, and Vladimir Spidla, E.U. commissioner for employment and social affairs, has asked that every new E.U. policy be evaluated for its potential effect on demographics. Many countries in Europe offer maternity leave, but the long length and small payments during the leaves often make it difficult for women to re-enter the workforce, according to the Times (Rosenthal,

I've got three. I'm doing my bit.

come on, why don't more people vote for the hanging? It's much more fun. Wavels, you're right about the muslims, I don't think a lot of Americans understand how bad the problem is here. I blame Brussels, fucking sprouts!

It's just a thought. Your problem is you believe a vast majority of things you are told! Challenge authority or you'll just end up a boring typical American supporting your very interesting incompetant government.
How nice to know that you are dialed in on my problems, Oisin. Oh, and by the way ... your nose is stuck up your ass.

If this is the case, why are we suffering a housing crisis? I've actually read about this before, amongst OTHER things to the contrary...

It really is hard to take stock in any statistical paper published today. If you were to go to our hospitals you would see that often there are times a birthing mother doesn't have a proper room to deliver in.

I've also read that the population of my City has gone down by 60-70,000. Yet, we have hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants that would not show up on this report. Our population is decreasing, while the muslim one is increasing. Nobody realises this more than the muslims, they are taking over areas one by one, building mosque after mosque. This is why I'm so angry against religion, and belief in an afterlife. You christians are okay, as deep down you don't really believe; but when you do truly believe in something like this, that is when you are dangerous.

OT- they are the ones who don't believe, that's why all their prayers ask "who will save me?" and it's also why they think they need to kill for alah because he made the mistake of creating the "wrong" kind of people. /OT

I think you have been mislead if you think they don't believe. How many Christians would blow themselves up in the name of Christ, it seems to me, you must believe pretty strongly to do that. I believe, but I wouldn't strap a bomb on and go to a government office and pull the switch, I might go on a protest march and carry a banner/sign and shout kill the oppressors, but blowing myself so I could hasten my meeting with Christ, no fucking way!

they "want" which is not the same thing. you don't take others with you if you believe. they want that prize so bad that they quit believing a long time ago, ask an honest muslim. when they take it into their own hands to deal out death they acknowledge not belief but selfish want.

i don't know how many Christians die for what they believe but it's a lot.

lol, back to religion, and I notice that it is my fault again.

So 7x, if I were to ask an 'honest muslim' they would tell me they don't believe. I have spoken to many muslims, been banged up with a few too. One thing they are staunch in is their belief. You question this belief and they believe they have the RIGHT to kill you. That allah would bless them for this, and they will be rewarded in heaven.

I know what muslims believe. After speaking to them they have far more BELIEF than any christian I have ever spoken to. Their belief is such that they are prepared to die for it, and such that they believe without question the murder of infidels is a blessed thing. This is belief. You could never understand this 7x as you are not a true believer.

they just want, it's not the same. i know the difference is hard to pinpoint but think about it a little. belief is deeper than just wanting a big prize. they are like greedy children. if you consider the want that a child has on Christmas Eve the same as belief then that's fine by me...they prepare themselves for their "missions" with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads...

Skunky, that situation sounds kind of creepy!

I believe that as disclosed on recently broadcast covertly taped audio that even within a "moderate" mosque, references were made to jihad as being the pinnacle of being a good Muslim! Moderate Mosque?
A distinction many westerners gloss over is the perception and understanding of the act of martyrdom; From a Christian or Western perspective it entails willingly suffering death for refusing to renounce a religion, or, a person who sacrifices something of great value and especially life itself for the sake of principle.
The Islamic mindset perceives martyrdom as being attained in the actual act of seeking the blood of infidels, there can be no martyrdom without the killing of human beings....
Big difference, IMO!

We cannot appease this mindset, which is why Tony Blair has acted courageously in this entire campaign. IMO...

Not being Islamic lends me to wonder how you came by this bit of information. Is this pure conjecture or have you scientific proof of this "mindset". Have you been reading islamic minds, like are you a clairvoyant or did you just pull this tidbit out of your arse? Knowing you, you must have quintesential proof!

It is in the koran med...

The Prophet, for example, directed “martyrdom” operations. Martyrdom, Spencer elaborates, was understood exactly as it is by today’s jihadists: “referring to one who (in the words of a revelation that came to Muhammad much later) ‘slays and is slain’ for Allah (Qur’an 9:111), rather than in the Christian sense of suffering unto death at the hands of the unjust for the sake of the faith.”

Incontestably, jihad is a central imperative (in fact, the highest obligation) of Islam. Muhammad’s career as a fierce and, at times, brutal warrior illustrates the futility of efforts to render congenial to modern sensibilities this command to struggle against perceived enemies. Yes, the Koran famously asserts that there shall be “no compulsion in religion” (2:256). But however hortatory this injunction may be, it is ahistorical. Islam was spread by the sword.Andrew C. McCarthy on The Truth about Muhammad on National Review Online

[9:111] GOD has bought from the believers their lives and their money in exchange for Paradise. Thus, they fight in the cause of GOD, willing to kill and get killed. Such is His truthful pledge in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran - and who fulfills His pledge better than GOD? You shall rejoice in making such an exchange. This is the greatest triumph.Sura - 9 Ultimatum (Bara'ah) -The Arabic Quran with the Authorized English Translation by Dr. Rashad Khalifa-Koran

You're telling me that in the kouran it says: "No-one can attain martyrdom without the killing of another human being" when all the Muslims say the Kouran is a book of peace and love. Having never read the kouran, and not intending to do so, I'd like to know this. It is not that important to me why someone would do these things, just the fact that they do them is sufficient cause to be concerned!

Wavels, this threat has been a long time coming. Their stronghold in my country is immense. In fact my City is a major stronghold for terrorist's cells. We have our areas and they have theirs.

There is no such thing as a moderate muslim. They WILL pretend, maybe they'd prefer to call it subterfuge. This is a war we are going to lose because we refuse to accept this fact.

I have met many, many muslims. Shit, at one time I ran with a muslim gang (I was 15). I wasn't a convert or anything, merely a crook. They used to speak about shit like this back then, 16-17 years ago. They would show me literature written in Urdu, and translate it for me. Basically the pamphlets spoke about how the muslims would one day take over the world. They seek world domination, and they are in for the long-haul (thought you'd appreciate the Americanism).

look this is simple... the radical muslims have promised to eradicate western civilization and many people fall into that category all of the EU, America, and Israel just to name a few... These people are full of religious fervor and they are not afraid because over the years our countries have become to pollitically correct and we give to many rights to those who do not deserve them... this war is not unjust it is a war for survival the most basic of ideas.... they have more then promised to kill us and all we can do is argue about whether our own leaders should be punished for war crimes... we are still in the war can't you guys see that save these discussions for after this thing is over and the way its looking that could be a long time unless things change... the people of our free countries have no idea what is really going on... the media lies they are defeatists that don't understand what will happen if we lose... If bush and blair have done anything wrong and i believe they have... it is be to nice like pussies and they make our countries look weak and that just further motivates the terrorists... We should DESTROY!!!!!!!! them i can't make that any clearer this is WAR!!!!!! if we do not then they will destroy us... In WWII our countries didn't fuck around we knew what was at stake and we took action... Sure innocent people and soilders died and that is a damn shame however the alternative was worse and the same is true today... I beg of anyone who reads this... STAND UP and let them know that we won't go quietly into the night... because if the people don't do something about this then we are royally fucked because our leaders are to busy arguing back and fourth trying to make theirselves look good to get the damn job done... the people are where the power is and the people are the true decision makers!!!
