That really gives some perspective. now you got me wishing I would have thrown a couple of the beautiful clones, I just gave away, outside. I thought it was too late to really do anything. duhh That pk will do her grandmother proud. :)

With all the variety I have, I am hoping that some start flowering a bit sooner than others, so I can harvest over the course of maybe 3-4 weeks.... but yeah trimming is going to be something else this year.... a few of my patients that are able will certainly be trimming their own ;). The Sensi Star should almost double in size before she really flowers, so my guess is at finish she will be three times the size she is now. The Maui Skunk I grew out in the past almost tripled size during flowering (means a 12 ft finish for her, :) )..... Sensi Star should start flowering the mid/end of August, and the PK just at the beginning of September, or a day or two before. What you have out there is really nice already.... start small, go big ;). All in due time.

WOW !! I cant beleive how big that PK got last year when it was so small at this same time. Starting to scare the crap out of me on my own this year. Very impressive grow, lot of hard work that is clearly paying off. Are you going to put some kind of cages around these soon ?

All of these pictures and time lines are done so that I can make better choices in the future about what I grow and how I grow it. Maui Skunk, Sensi Star, and Purple Kush are all now outdoor "Staple" strains for me. They also just happen to be versatile enough to be "Staple" indoor strains for me as well. I will be getting cuttings of the three of these, and the rest of the others, but primarily the three of these, over the next week to get some mothers going.... Hopefully those same cuts will find their way into the garden outside again next year. Keeping a plant vegging for a year to put outside isn't going to be the easiest thing, especially if I am going to get them out at good sizes and health, but I will do my best. I am also hoping some of the other crosses turn into "Staple" strains for me, though Widow Cindy will probably not be on that list, and maybe only one or two phenos of the NGGH, the UIL will most likely not be "Staple" for product, but rather just for the joy of growing. I plan to keep both phenos of the CCxHJ around until they have both flowered and I pick one or choose to keep both. I suspect JSxHJ will be "Staple" as she already has her foot well in the door. I would like to get some Original Chemo Cindy outside next year too, if I get a female out of the two seeds I have left that is. Jack Herer.... I just couldn't let that go, and hope to breed it later on down the road. I would like to set aside a plot somewhere, a huge plot, just to grow out the UIL, because even though I named it "Ugly Indian Landrace" It sure is a beautiful plant, and grows really really fast.... Huge.... I want a grove of UIL trees next year.

Next year the garden will be bigger, taking up more space, and having more plants. I plan to have plants where my vegetable garden is now, only double that size, and ornamental cannabis spread around for looks and aromas. This being the first year growing in this locations, the soil hasn't ever been "Farmer cycled", and will receive more conditioning over the winter (as I plan to do a winter crop outside as well as a spring one)..... If I amend the soil all the way up to spring harvest, and am ready wish fresh amendments then and another super soil mix, I think the garden will do twice as well for next years full season.

It would also be nice to have my gardens going for me and my patients, as well as get a community garden going as well. That is a lot more difficult to manage though.... so it may be a few years off. Just like the cannabis school may be a few years off, and publications of my books is a few years off.

When I look at the characteristics of the generations spread out, the 60 yr olds down to the 20 and 15 year olds, I notice that the younger the people, or for each different generation, the quality in ethical understanding and practices diminishes greatly, like the Richter scale goes up, our morals values and principals have gone down. This leads me to believe that finding people of quality character to participate in the community garden and my other projects, that would be commited and wise enough to understand the breadth of these endeavors, is going to be extremely difficult. I have tested some waters already and found that generations 25-45 are most reciprocal and honorable in actually participating productively and even with a hint of Altruism in these projects. Seems a majority of people over 45 are not open minded enough, or are too hard wired into what they are already doing to get involved (with MAJOR acceptations of course), while kids under 25 (especially with no children) simply have no sense of honor, work ethics, virtues, community, or even direction. Honestly, half the kids between 20-30 can't commit to putting their socks on, and almost all the kids under 20 you couldn't count on to breathe it seems.
I just had to get all that out ^^ it bothers me on a regular basis. These kids are carrying these traits along with them (or lack of traits), and don't seem to really be overcoming their shortfalls, unfortunately, and I think attitude and social presentation has a lot to do with it. These kids are our future, and it scares me.

Boy you nailed that one on the head, the youth of today seem to have this "Do It For Me" Attitude and it is sad. I'm 43 years old and i watch these kids get hired and fired within a weeks time and instead of getting a new job they file against the business owner for wrongful termination then file for unemployment. WTF????

Notorious B sparked some thoughts in me...

I have started to think about the nutrients that I will be using during this outdoor flower cycle, and at this point can say this:

I like the granular feeding technique, and the results I have gotten, putting the Kellogg fertilizer outside of the beds and in the isles, as well as top dressing as I described in my journal. I will probably do it again towards the end of August, maybe not the same exact granular product, but one that is similar in its quality source materials.

I will most likely use BOTH the liquinox Fish emulsion, And Fox Farms Grow Big for my N boosts (one just before flowering starts and then again at week 3,5, and 7/10 in flower) Fish emulsion Weeks 3 and 7, Grow Big in between. I wish I had acces to more Llama droppings, as I would prefer to mix that out in the isles as well for a slow release organic fertilizer in the isles (primarily for N).

Fox Farms Big Bloom will probably be applied in the beds regularly up to week 6 at varying strengths. Fox Farms Tiger Bloom will start at whatever I deem is week 1 in flower and will progressively build in dosage until the week or week and a half before harvest. I will start at 1/2 TBLSPN per gallon, and end up at 1.5-2 TBLSPNs per gallon towards the end (going up a 1/4 TBLSPN week 3, and a 1/2 TBLSPN week 5), the per gallon is counted AFTER watering in... when I mix the solutions, it will be more concentrated than that.

Bio Bizz Fish Mix will be applied in weeks 2, 4, and 6 of bloom (in between "feedings", just as part of the watering schedule, I am thinking). And Bio Bizz Bio Bloom will be used every time Tiger bloom is used (starting out stronger than the TB is started at, recommended strength wise), and will be used up to two waterings before harvest.

I will probably apply the Green Light root stimulator in week 1 and 3 of flower but not after that.

Thats the plan, plans always change, other shit comes up, and different things happen.

theloadeddragon, u are a jedi! I can't read the whole thread due to time and dial up, but wow! I promise to read the whole thing! I am wondering what part of the world u are in tho.... and I am feeling all inadiquate just so u know lol jk, kinda....
as far as the infernal youngsters..... what do u expect from a generation raised by daycare, tho that is my opinion, stemmed from hiring that generation. My kids are well behaived, and do what is expected of them and then some.....

Looks like a good lineup. I am debating whether or not to use that same line again this year or use my my week old reservoir change water with AN bloom nutes. I used Tiger/Big Bloom with great results in the past. Pulled 12 ounces dry off a 15 gallon Blueberry years and years ago. Was very impressed with how large the buds got. I might have been overfeeding them but they did not burn and got HUGE buds. I think I fed full strength every watering with drip and siphon nutes. Didnt know any better back then =?) The reason I mention this in detail is because it seems you can push a lot of these nutes on a variety of plants without burn and get really large blooms. Had bigger buds in 15 gallon containers then I did in 30 gallon containers years later with same strains. Food for thought anyhow. Debating on how much I want to push my own .

Try being one of the kids that wants to work and has a good work ethic and values, but yet no one will hire me, maybe they have the misconception that I am like all the others my age. I surely understand what you mean and it bothers me as much or more than it does you. Because it just means that I will be trying to correct a lot of mistakes and trying to make up for a lot of my colleagues short-comings down the line. The future scares the crap out of me.

Awesome timeline. Your genetics are wonderful, I have been eyeing that Maui SKunk and the Sensi Star for a long time now..... I hear ya with the work ethics, I am a young one but I work my damn ass off, I am never home.... Picked up some land here, and I am off farming..... Garlic it shall be. Just a few acres to start but then moving up.....

Im right there with you man...
our generation is so narcisistic and self centered. the majority feel like they are entitled to this and that without putting much skin or anything in.
its scary to see the denagration of society in one spoiled generation. and thats not even half of it once you factor in the govt aspect into it all.
the future scares the living daylights out of me too..

Was gone for almost a week.... and noticible plant growth occurred, :). the plants were watered on Friday (23'rd). I am about to go feed them and screw around out there..... more later... crazy times... CRAZY.... should get some cooler weather, in the 90's instead of the 100's.

Just got done feeding them, and am glad I did. I swear they all grew a few inches in the couple hours I was out there! :D

Just water today for all the recent transplants in the "mini garden" (lower garden area). About 6 gallons each (12 for the one in the raised bed).

Green Light Root Stimulator/fertilizer was spread out in the isles at 6 gallons per isle ("4" isles), at 3 1/2 TBLSPNs per gallon, starting at 12-16 inches away from the bases of the beds.

PK "Wide" and "Tall"- Fed 6 gallons of Liquinox Fish Emulsion at 2.5 TBLSPNS per gallon in the beds. Watered in with another 8 gallons. 10 gallons of just water was spread around the bases of the boxes, helping to water in the Green Light, and drawing food from the granular fertilizers I already laid directly around the beds.

PK "2 Legged" and South West- Fed 3 gallons of Liquinox Fish emulsion at 2.5 TBLSPNS per gallon in the beds. Watered in with another 10-12 gallons. 10 gallons of just water was spread around the bases of the beds, helping to water in the Green Light, and drawing food from the granular ferts I already laid directly around the beds.

UIL and CCxHJ, and the entire center row of plants was fed 3 gallons of Liquinox Fish emulsion at 2.5 TBLSPNS (3.5 TBLSPNS for the UIL and CCxHJ) in the beds, and watered in in the beds with 6 gallons of water, 8 gallons of water spread around the outside of the beds for granular and Green Light.

Maui Skunk Original and BBxMS both got 3 gallons of Liquinox Fish Emulsion at 2.5 TBLSPNS per Gallon, and was watered in with 10 gallons in the beds, and watered around the sides with 10-12 gallons.

Sensi Star and PK North East both got 6 gallons of Liquinox Fish Emulsion at 2.5 TBLSPNS per Gallon, watered in with 8 gallons of water and 10-12 gallons around the bases of the beds.

Neem oil Spray tomorrow night. Pics tomorrow, :).
