Just got my 150w HPS =D

Yes i know its not the best... But im just trying u kno.. this is my first ever grow..... OO and i kno some1 is ganna say i replanted 2 early or i shouldnd of used the bigs pots 2 soon.. well before i had the light they where strectched rlly badly.. so i had 2 replant them

if you have a thermometer get it on top of your pots and check the temps.

AS bonzi has said you may need to move it up it gets alot hotter than a CFL.

You are aiming for under 80F at the top of your plants.

That looks like it was killed by nute-overdose or something. Remember...plants that grow in the wild have the sun beating down on them all day when they are seedlings...that's how they get big and strong...the plants can handle the 150W, but like the others said...move it up a bit...for a 150W HPS you should be about 8-10" from the tops of the plants.

Use a fan to blow the hot air away from the light. Try to place it so that the air blows inbetween the plant tops and the light.

Just track your temps for now. if there is a good supply of fresh air you should be fine.

@HGB Nope that was running the light too close. She's about 4 weeks from harvest in @ 11 now Sativa dom
