please help: male or female?

This is my first post. Does anyone have a clue if this plant is male or female? I've been searching and looking at photos online for 2 days and still cant decide.

get a closer picture. You should see little white hairs between the nodes.

Try getting a closer pic at the top. That looks like more leaves coming in.

How old is it? What is your lighting schedule? Looks a little too early to tell.

Its been growing since the first of May, outside. Someone threw seeds in my flower pot with my lemon tree and they grew. So I moved it back into some shade when it got bigger because its right in front of my house. I cant get a better photo right now, the sun is in a bad spot.

Thank you so much! That is the best photo I have seen yet! I'll check the others later! I transplanted 5 from the pot into smaller pots and the one I left alone in the original container is doing the best!

Ya...from about 2 years ago..i do have better pics..that one just poped up first.

In that 2nd pic you posted, there looks to be a small female preflower coming in on the right side of the internode. I'm 95% sure it's a female.

As for the first pic, it's impossible to tell. Those hair-looking things sticking out, are called "stipules" and both sexes have them. Wait another day or two, then post some new close-ups of the upper internodes, and we'll be abkle to tell ya for certain, that it's female. Actually, I know it is. We just need another day, to confirm it 110%.

Sorry man, but those pics aren't what we need. We need pics of the internodes, because male and female foliage both look identical. We need to see prelowers, to be able to tell them apart.

You sure you weren't looking at the pic i posted? Cause his internode pic...you can't see any preflower coming up at all.
