My girls were all so well rooted in the 6 inch cubes that the roots were starting to get too dry on the tips. I didnt want this to continue so I soaked the slabs in ph'd water in my bathtub and setup my tray. Its a good thing that I did too cause the plants are just below screen hight and ready to fill it out. The front 12 are Purple kush and the rear 6 are green crack.
When I set the cubes on the slabs I watered with 650 ppm ph 5.8. I then used toothpicks to stake down the rockwool covers cause they were blowing off the cubes. There is still no sign of any mites at all. Ive been checking daily with my 100x microscope. I do however still see the eggs but I think theyre dead cause they dont seem to ever hatch. Looks to me like the floramite neem oil combo works well. I will apply neem again when I flip to flower and about 3 weeks in.Also I will be spraying with eagle 20 at thesame time to prevent any chance of powdery mildew. Ive got my co2 set at 1000ppm and it gets as high as 1300 when it peaks out. Ill raise the ppm throughout the flower weeks till I peak at 1500ppm at about week 4. Plants seem to love co2 during veg they are growing super fast, and I cant seem to keep the roots in a cube for long at all.

Looking great man. That is going to be a full screen in no time. I am sure you don't feel like messing with it now, but wanted to mention that the pvc will sit in the lip on the tray perfectly if you cut them down just a hair. I actual don't even secure mine, they just rest on the little ledge on the inside of the top of the trays. Now I must say, that if I bump them they do move, but are pretty sturdy once they are fit in. How often are you watering? I thought about trying the slabs myself under the 9" square pots of minis, but was thinking they may hold too much water. have you used the slabs before? How high do you flood? Sorry for all the questions, I am just still tweeking my set-up.

Ive been meaning to do that but have been so busy withpests and shit its been at the bottom of the list. I saw how yours sit and will end up the same soon. As for the slabs this is the first time so itll be a learning process. Ill tryto logevery part of my waterings and let everyone know what worked and what didnt. so far Ive been watering by hand every 3-4 days. Im going to lake commanche for the weekend so when I get back Ill setup the flood and drain system. Ill run it manually at first, then move to automated when they need at least once per day. Yeah I think it will bea quick fill,and yes it is noticeable how fast they grow with co2 enrichment. You see how big they are now? Ill post again when I return from camping on sunday to let you compare the two pics.

Congrats man. It looks like its gonna work out good for ya man.
So I went to the store today and was looking at whats gonna be the best here over the long haul and they were trying to push the roots organic on me with a drip system setup. I came back with an idea to put the ocean forest and light warrior mix on a drip system. He came up with the idea to setup 2 different drip systems into each plant. So I got 2 5 gallon buckets and 2 digital timers I can run different days. One to pump water with nutes 2 days a week and 1 to pump straight water 5 days a week. The system seems sick. I got 2 6" inline fans with one scrubber and for now 1 1000 watt light. I think this is going to work out sweet. All the ease of a hydro setup but with soil and what I feel a little less mess. He also said I could hook my reverse osmosis up to a 50 gallon trash can he said I can hook straight up to the RO system and put a water stopper in there. I am so excited about the setup. I get to keep using my Pura Vida nutes but got everything going to be somewhat automatic. He said I could also reverse the water not being used back into these buckets somehow. That seemed a little confusing but I will show you guys pics on my tent gets setup.
Question. Whats the easiest way to get the scrubber and inline fan to push that smell outside? Cut a hole and what push mush and a vent cover or ??????? Ideas. Need a little help with that part.

If you bought a tent it should already have multiple vents for an exhaust, but the best way is to pull air through the filter and into the lamp, and then finally out your tent. If you have to cut a hole in it, try to secure it with a sewing needle and dental floss. Duct tape, velcro tape, and about a million other things will work too. And you can fit a ladies stocking over the exhaust to help with light and dust issues.Congrats man. It looks like its gonna work out good for ya man.

No not the tent I want to vent it to outside my house. The tent has holes. I just dont want the odor being vented into the house I want to cut a hole into the wood in my trusts in my basement. Thats possible but I am trying to get ideas on how to cut and then vent outside my house and protect from outside hazards coming in through the hole.

Try tying into an existing vent, like you dryer or bathroom exhaust vent. They should already exhaust out of the house. Look in your attack for any exhaust and tie into that. Most vents have a damper on them so the air will not travel back into the house. Just my 2 cents .

Yeah should be rolling quick now.
I think you should use one fan for the light on its own loop. Pull cool air from wherever through the light and vent outside. This vent doesnt need a scrubber cause the air never enters the tent. Then place your scrubber in the tent with ducting running from it outside the tent and to your other fan. Then attach ducting to the fan and run it outside, or like raiderfan said run it to existing ventilation somewhere. Make sure you have a passive intake hole that is light proof in your tent also to allow air into the tent. For the hole you create going outside any panty hose like thing will do.Congrats man. Hulk nugs heres the growth comparison for three days. Keep in mind that Im giving them 12 hrs of 1000ppm of co2. I didnt want to go full strength co2 for veg, but even the lower ppm helps a lot. My mama is looking real nice in her new pot. I think she loves the room that she has now. The first two pics are from from thurs and the next two are today sunday. Then we have mamma PK.
