we sell them for wholesale prices. But its against riu rules to advertise here or do business etc
.
You mean supplying dispensaries with medication?
I am so against dispensaries its not even funny. What Dispensaries have become is what represents most everything that it is NOT all about, that prop 215 is NOT all about, that I am against, and what politicians and Big Business want you to believe.. I actually got banned from riu for voicing my opinions on the matter. It comes down to what the writers of 215 intended, and how that has been manipulated,
. It has never been about the money. It has been about compassion for sick people. And I seriously doubt any "compassion" that comes out of 90% of the clubs. I know too many club owners personally to believe it......
Some clubs truly are compassionate though, and do their best to help their patients, and encourage a healthy lifestyles and life long friendships. They are becoming fewer and farther between.
A perfect example, and an experience becoming more and more familiar to people:
A medical patient grows for herself and a couple other medical patients truly in need.
After harvest, they divide up the meds, and they still have extra medication.
So, in order to help provide for other patients that are truly in need they take it to a local dispensary.
They put a lot of effort and money out to secure the meds, and ensure it is quality medical cannabis free of mold, mildew, pests, or other disease.
Its not the prettiest cannabis in commercial terms.
They feel 100 an oz is fair to ask in compensation for their time, money, etc.
The club owner looks at it, and laughs at them, tells them he wouldn't take it for free, and shoves commercially grown expensive indoor nuggets in their faces.
They offer to leave it for free so it doesn't go to waste.
The club owner laughs them out of his shop saying it would make him look bad, and good luck anywhere else.
20 minutes later, 60 yr old patient with multiple diseases/ailments/disorders walks in, living on SSI and Disability, screwed out of a pension because they literally got sick from their old job. Broke.
Club owner smiles as they walk in, is kind and "compassionate". He sales this patient a gram of "Finely grown indoor medical cannabis" for the only $20 the patient has.
The patients symptoms are relieved by this gram for a total of 4 hrs, that night they can't sleep or eat.
The grower that originally took in their extra to the same club meets the patient the next day, feels truly compassionate, and gives all their extra to the person that really needs it.
The grower then learns the true value of their deeds.
The patient then learns the true value of the dispensary they visited.
It actually makes me cry. It hurts deep down. It doesn't have to,
.
Their are two sides to this coin. Many growers hate me for making such reiterations, few love me fore it. I am just myself, and it is what it is. We need to think about what it should be, and what we can do to make it so,
.
