How to multiply my auto-flowering plants?

Im pretty sure that there is a 50%possibility of hermies if you hermi the female. Time to do some reading, and also if it was me using the hermied plants pollen< i would pollenate it only and not the other as they more than likely have different genotypes and I would like to have a stable line of seeds myself! Just IMO.

Stabilizing your own strain takes alot. Lots and lots.

Heres a good read on making Fem Seeds

I read that before do you think this would work:

I noticed that if I flowered the plants 10-14 days longer than usual, they would develop male "bananas."
because that would be the perfect way to hermi my plant because screwing up light-cycles probably won't work on an auto. But mush more importantly I could harvest a few buds before letting it go hermi :)

Not to long ago I broke a rule in my garden and I took in some Train Wreck clones from a friend. Well they flowered up nicely once I got them into 12/12 then they went hermie and I was pissed. So now I have TW seeds from a Hermie plant and the little shit pollinated my Church. So I shall see for myself and for others who care to hear the outcome, being I do plan on trying the new breed.
this is not true.

hermies make hermies.

Of course there will be no science to it, just going to drop 4 seeds in the soil and see what we get. I am willing to bet ~ No hermies . Just from past experiences alone.

From the man himself "Soma" ~ "To me, a male banana is quite a beautiful thing. It has the potential of making all female seeds. Many growers out there have male-banana phobia."..... I Know I shit when I seen my Train wreck Buds pop out Bananas. Now I have a cross of TW x The Church (cough Cough fem seeds).

so how would one go about making hermies seeds?

hermies make hermies.

Hermaphroditism will sometimes result in female cannabis due to stress triggers.
The pollen they produce will make viable, feminised seeds.
These seeds will grow into girls waiting for a "real" male that their collective mothers never knew.
And if by chance THIS group of girls can't get laid by the real deal, well, somebody "grows a pair", and on it goes. But the gene pool is quickly degraded unless true male pollen is introduced.
So you can certainly say hermies make hermies, it's not a bad thing, it's just what they do. BB

Scrap them and get real genetics.

I've never heard of an autoflowering strain winning a cannabis cup.

Yeah BB is it not just amazing how the Cannabis plant secures it's strain in the wild. Say a single female plant grows way out by itself, flowers, gets no pollen, start's thinking fast and turn's itself into a hermi so it can further her strain. Freaking awesome....Good Post BB

I grew out some auto's to fine tune my new set up and being I just switched to organics, wanted to test the waters. My auto's where freaking great mids. I dunno if every one gets great results from auto's , but I did.
LOL for the record I only purchase and grow strains that have won awards lol.

You will get hermie seeds.

Also you cant reveg a auto they flower by age. So its impossible
Shouldn't give out false information, if you force a FEMALE plant to turn hermie, or grow male bananas, and use that pollen to pollinate another FEMALE plant, the resulting seeds will be feminized.

I'm a first time grower growing under a roof-window in the attic, therefore i can't use light cycles as such, only the natural one, that's why i use auto flowering. Also this is my first grow so i used cheapo seeds from nirvana which was a good idea because i already lost 1 out of 3 plants to fungus that ate its way through the stem .

also I'll probably be moving country in a year so getting lights a room and all the rest along with proper genetics would be a waste (not to mention I'd need a loan from the bank :P), so the roof window in the unused attic with cheapo seeds it is. also were i live there is no such thing as good quality weed everything is contaminated and gives you mouth ulcers so anything is better then what I'd get on the street.
