Good news!! the clone that was 24/0 has shown a root finally!!! :D so happy about it, at the end I'll finally have the change to grow my own clones :)

She took 20 days to show this root.

I'll put it in a pot and under 12/12 today and I'll have to check the other clone later today for roots.

I'm wondering if it would have been much faster by adding hormones.

Probably so.Mine root in 7-10 days with rooting gel.

Damn man! that was a really long wait for me, 7 to 10 days is much better, should buy hormones next time.
Well, at least now i know how long they take to root without any hormones :)

The other clone has also rooted so I guess it didn't really matter the hours of light to make them root. Anyway I put both clones in a pot and they are both in 12/12 now. Lets see if now that they are starting to grow roots they show any difference :)

I'm so exited to see them grow and see how they do.

So, this two plants are two week old already and here are some pics, it's amazing the height difference between them, both are two weeks old.
DP17 is the tall one and critical+ the other.

I think that the critical+ has some powdery mildew, I have to make sure it does and check the other plants and if confirmed I'll start spraying neem oil to the plants.

Also the two first serrated leaves in the critical are almost dead, not sure why but if it keeps giving troubles i'll get rid of it and grow something else (maybe papaya).

Dude that plant is stretching crazy bring the light closer to it.The stem is very thin put a fan on it.
Thanks for the observation :)

I've got the plants 3cm apart from the light, isn't that enough ? Couldn't the stretching be because of genetic reasons ? the critical is just beside the other one and it's not stretching.

The stem is another story. I'll be checking the fans tomorrow and I'll try to have more air blowing the plants inside the box :)

Yeah it could be a genetic thing. Some sativa based strains grow tall so it could be that. But you want to get the stem stronger so it can hold it self straight up instead of leaning to the side.

Ok! so today I checked the fans and it seems I had a power problem so I changed the adapter. I'm still not fully finished with this and I'll have to give it another round tomorrow but it's much better. I added another fan and now I can see the leaves moving :)

I also transplanted the both durban poison to their final pot which is a 1L pot. I'm still not sure if I'll keep the critical+, I've removed the leave with powdery mildew so if it doesn't get any more fungus I'll keep it, if it shows more signs of PM I'll get rid of her :(

I'll also start with the LST as soon as I have a minute so I'll upload some more pictures this week.

I'm very happy to announce that DP17 has shown preflowers yeaaaah!! :D The girl is 25 days old. I'm really happy to see pistils coz I don't know if I said this before but the seeds I'm using are seeds I got last year and therefore there is a change to get male plants.

Critical+ is just 1 day younger so I'll have a closer look in the evening.
DP18 is 6 days younger so I guess she'll show sex soon :)

Also wanted to share a picture, I made cannabutter for the first time yesterday and this is the result, it took me ages but the result looks worth the time ;)

looks good...mine was a darker green color, but looks good none-the-less
Should it be darker/green colour ?

What did you use to make it ? I've used buds because I didn't have any leaves, maybe I'll do it again with leaves when I harvest in October :)

I guess it could also change the colour depending on the butter?? the water was green/brown when boiling but you can see the colour of the finished product.

I've checked the DP18 and it seems to be a male, still not sure so will wait a few more days till I'm 100% sure.
The critical+ has not shown sex yet, maybe she'll at the end of the week.

The clones are not very healthy, one less that the other but the one that is healthy seems to be just growing flowers and it's not getting any bigger. Anyway I'll let them be for some more time.

And the stems on the plants seem to be getting a little bit thicker :D

So I found another problem with the electricity, when I switch on the light on the kitchen (where I've got the grow-boxes) the fans start spinning slower, I switch off the light and they spin faster. Why does this happen ?
