Does adding nutrients make a significant difference?

I have a small outdoor grow going, it's only 2 plants (one sativa-dominant and one indica). The sativa is about 8.5' tall and about a week or 2 into flowering and the indica is 4' tall and almost 4 weeks into flowering. I simply planted the seeds straight into the ground (no store-bought soil, fertilizer, or anything) and then just watered them once in a while during the first 2 months. After that, they've been growing completely naturally. They seem perfectly healthy and all so I never saw the need for adding nutrients/fertilizer.

Anyway, I was wondering whether to add nutrients or to just let them grow naturally until harvest. Would adding nutrients actually make a significant difference in yield/potency? Also, could you guys possibly recommend what nutrients would be alright to use (brand/NPK values/etc)? I saw some "Miracle Gro: Bloom booster" stuff at the store the other day, I did some research and a lot of people said it's crap yet others say it's okay... what do you guys think?

Let them finish out now. Too far into flowering on either for you to want nute build up in the buds.

Ask the ones that say it's crap "why"... You'll NEVER get the same answer twice from that crowd. That fert is just as good as any other fert with a guaranteed analysis. The one's that say it's crap spend big bucks on names such as Advanced Nutrients, Fox Farms, GH, and many others. I use Fox Farms cause I always have, based on recommendations read here, however MG makes some great ferts for weed, Bloom food is one, the other is plant food. When my FF runs out, I'll be switching to those and molasses only and of course some soil amendments like lime and worm castings.

Do you think soo many people buy and use nutes just for the hell of it..?
Of course they work....
Id recomend... Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom Soil (NPK-1-4-5) its a base nutrient
if your feelin frisky you can add some Botanicare Hydroplex to it also..(NPK-0-10-6) its a Bloom Maximizer

I like and use Botanicare Pure Blend Products because they are fairly priced and NOT super synthetic salty shit like other products.....check it out

Miracle Grow is horrible, chemically stuff, stuff that you shouldn't eat, much less smoke in a plant. Stay as far away from it as possible. This is for growing things that you look at, not for growing things that you ingest in some way.

Yes, it's cheap - and for a good reason. It sucks. LOL

So, I say if your plant is doing well, why mess with it? I mean, you might want to add Advanced Nutrients or some other nute on your next grow, but I would suggest you wait this one out and see what it does.

Will AN make a difference? Oh yeah. It's made for growing weed, so it works with the plant to boost its growth and buds. But maybe you've just got the magic touch or you're happy with your results. For me, bigger is always better.

I can´t comment from personal experience with MJ - can´t buy the stuff here.

But my old Grandad grew wonderful tomatoes with it.
