I have a small outdoor grow going, it's only 2 plants (one sativa-dominant and one indica). The sativa is about 8.5' tall and about a week or 2 into flowering and the indica is 4' tall and almost 4 weeks into flowering. I simply planted the seeds straight into the ground (no store-bought soil, fertilizer, or anything) and then just watered them once in a while during the first 2 months. After that, they've been growing completely naturally. They seem perfectly healthy and all so I never saw the need for adding nutrients/fertilizer.
Anyway, I was wondering whether to add nutrients or to just let them grow naturally until harvest. Would adding nutrients actually make a significant difference in yield/potency? Also, could you guys possibly recommend what nutrients would be alright to use (brand/NPK values/etc)? I saw some "Miracle Gro: Bloom booster" stuff at the store the other day, I did some research and a lot of people said it's crap yet others say it's okay... what do you guys think?
