i'm currently running the their soil A&B line up and so far liking it in FFOFhouse and garden rocks!! Used it in deep water culture (hydro line) and had amazingly fast growth. Stalks were huge along with the colas. A bit expensive Im not gunna BS there, but well worth the money spent. Make sure you pick up there feed guide when buying this product. It takes work. It's not the type of line you can just throw together and feed. Every product from H&G has a purpose and specific time period it needs to be introduced to the plant cycle, but when done properly you will get amazing results. I have never seen root mass like I did when I used deep water culture with H&G. I know use bio bizz and soil, which also works great but veg is much slower. Definetly would like to give the H&G soil a shot though. Cant remember if its strictly organic but I dont believe it is. Thats why I went to bio bizz. Love the pure stuff.
Yes I found out the hard way. I think I wasted some expensive shooting powder because I adjusted the ph to 5.9. I have already done a water change in my resevoir In stead of buying more shooting powder. I just switched my nutrient line to some leftover BC nutes for the last week.Yes I would use both air stones and recirc pump
Thanks for the reassurance on planning this out right.
You do not adjust the ph. I actually emailed house and garden about this and they said that the rising ph is actually better for the plant uptake the p and k.
They all work pretty much the same. I personally use the botanicre cal/mag.Does anyone know of a good Cal/Mag suppliment that I can add to the H&G Aqua Flakes line? I have a strain that has weak branches and I want to stiffen them up to put on weight.
I have never measured a teaspoon of a/b so I have no idea. It will vary as well depending on the EC of the water you start with.fk.. no one ever answers my questions about H&G. whyyyyyyyyyyy? =[
I prefer cal-max from grotek. to each their own i suppose... another thing you might want to look into is some form of silica for weak branches.. pro-silicate from grotek, rhino skin from advanced and botanicare makes one but the name is escaping me right now. just my 2cDoes anyone know of a good Cal/Mag suppliment that I can add to the H&G Aqua Flakes line? well dur. Do you have RO water? do you mind measuring 1 tsp for me?I have never measured a teaspoon of a/b so I have no idea. It will vary as well depending on the EC of the water you start with.
And you wonder why nobody answers your questions.well dur. Do you have RO water? do you mind measuring 1 tsp for me?
Yea it is pretty funny to look back. I actual have learned alot over the last year and a half along side you in this thread. I was a lurker for almost a year before I jumped into the riu community, but this was one of the first journals I looked at. Thanks for the great idea to start a house and garden thread.I was reading my first posts on this thread from like 2 years ago. lol, its funny how much you can learn and how far you can come in 2 short years.

I love H&G! Die hard fan as I switched from Advanced and myself and my clients couldn't be happier.... I am having some issues currently with mag def... I think it may be my PH for some reason although it could be what you are saying... I am currently try to solve the issue... I will keep ya posted though.. Cheersever notice mag def with h and G? hulkmaster had some in the blue dream journal, the outcome may be diferent without this mag def, or what seems to be a mag def. its happened in many a h and G grow......
anyone have ideas, thoughts or knowledge?
Crazy no ro with H&G no problems ??I've yet to experience it. I don't use Calmag and I don't use an RO system
