A friend and I are both running the same Cocos A+B Nutrient and are both growing the same PD. We both are using Royal Gold Coco Basement Soilless Mix. I was asking exactly his nute levels and he said he uses the H+G Soil Feed chart. i'm using 12 ml/1440 ppm max. He doesn't have a ppm meter but he says he uses exactly what the Soil Chart says, which is like 21ml. Wouldn't this be bad for the plant. His plants look great he just got done hanging them. I'm wondering how it could be possible to use almost double my max. wouldn't it nute burn?

Are you sure he isn't running 21 total 10.5ml of A and 10.5ml of B?

Here's a question for anyone. Why does the H&G feed chart for 8 week flowering in coco say for week 6 to mix the A and B nutrient to 15ml per gallon aggressive growth and then the shooting powder is supposed to be added with the EC at 1.2? By following the normal mixing chart the EC level is much higher before the shooting powder is added therefore possibly overdosing the plants and causing death. Has anyone here had an issue with this?

That is an issue with the charts. That is why the first week of shooting powder is half strength and then the charts say to reduce the A/B which at the normal reduced rates ( which I believe is 7.5 ml) does come out to about 800 ppm or 1.2 EC before adding shooting powder. I haven't ever used the aggressive strength on the charts. You know if you have questions for house and garden, you can e-mail them. I get reponses back the same day most of the time.

Ok thanks. One more question, I have been using H2O2 to keep the plants healthy because of root rot due to not knowing to elevate my buckets due to bad draining. Will shooting powder react negatively with H2O2?

I bought the whole line, including Magic Green Foliar. I'm vegging under 24hours of light. Can I safely use this product?
Magic green is an awesome foliar application. When veggin 24 hrs, I always raise the lights until the plants dry up. It usually takes about 15 mins or so.

I am switching from Coco to Hydroton in the Ebb & Gro bucket flood and drain system. Which Nutes do I use? Auqa Flakes or Coco A&B?

Anyone mind posting the EC levels for House and Garden Coco A & B of:
1 tsp / gal A & B
2 tsp / gal
3 tsp / gal

Thanks!

Their feeding schedule and nutrient calculator disagree with each other, so I'm having a really hard time figuring out what is the correct dosage. Not to mention that my 2 week old plants are looking pale at 1 tsp/gal

Does this mean that I have to keep the nutrient in the resivor recirculating? Air stones and recirculating pump?
Yes I would use both air stones and recirc pump
I just heard not to adjust the Ph while using shooting powder. Does anyone know where this is explained?
You do not adjust the ph. I actually emailed house and garden about this and they said that the rising ph is actually better for the plant uptake the p and k.
