CFL's contain mercury. Be VERY sure nothing inside the bulb hit your plants or your soil and make SURE it's all cleaned out from your entire grow area. Mercury poisioning is NO JOKE if you feel nothing hit the dirt or the plants and it all hit your growroom floor or something and was all cleaned up shouldn't be any worrys. But this happens ever again and if your not 100% sure it didn't touch the plants or soil take a moment and think... you consume this plant and all the things it was in... are you willing to risk the consumption of mercury? Thats why I handle all flourescent and mercury vapor bulbs with utmost care. Of course I come from a different perspective I grow medicine and as such I hold high standards to cleanliness and what is put into the plants. (unless it's mine for personal then sad to say I can be a bit lax )

got some new pics tonight....got 2 girls now in the party cups...so i guess im going to keep them for the time being.got the new dwc bucket done...just waiting on the net pots to do the top part...i hate waiting on the stuff i cant get locally

they have been in 12/12 for about 2 weeks now...the male was sexed and chopped last week...damn sativas...they take forever to sex and start to flower sometimes

here is the new bucket...i wanted to re route a few things...but didnt want to risk having leaks..so i picked up a new container...i needed an extra lid anyway...still need to light proof the container...tomorrows task i guess...but here is the new setup

wrapping it in a few layers of duct tape...then wrapping it in a reflective UV cover.dont have to go too crazy with it...after its in the box the lid will block most of the light from going through the sides...will be doing the top the same way

there was quite a bit of light that got into my res throught the plastic white top. cut a layer of mylar or panda film so it reflects light to the underside of the leaves. i was having problems with root rot because of the light coming through the white plastic top.

yeah...thats what i was gonna do...this reflective hood thingy is mylar...was also going to make a small plate with it that will sit on top of the net pots...so only the stem sticks through

got everything done that i could do today without the rest of my stuff...got the top covered and light proof.wrapped the container up with layers of duct tape...wont need too much on the sides...it just barely fits in my box...its flush with the sides..so no light is going to get to it anyways...but taped it just for extra coverage...here is some pics..still waiting on the net pots

for right now..not getting a ppm meter...i want to see what this jacks classic can do all on its own...with nothing but water,JC grow and bloom and ph down.after i find out whether or not one can use jacks in hydro setups...never really got a good answer on that.so its kinda a test grow with that stuff...then if i like how it all works ill get a ppm meter for my next grow and some hydro nutes...unless the jacks does good work

got an update on the tall girl in the party cup...showing even more hairs today...gave it a 1/4 strength shot of jacks bloom...next feeding its getting a full does of jacks bloon and AN big bud

i also did a lil lollipopping on it tonight...removed a bunch of the smaller branches...can tell the difference between the first and second pic

not loud at all...dont hear a thing from it...even with the lid off...hear a bubble pop from time to time but thats about it.the new pump i got kicks ass...got it at a decent price,its silent,and pumps a ton of air.almost no vibration from it...only if my hand is right on it do i feel any vibration
