I saw them a month or two ago in HT, so theve been around at least that long. They look sweet for sure!

Yeah to be honest 359 it sounds very attractive, just wish I knew enough about this stuff to know if it is bullshit. I don't exactly need a new ballast I would be removing one and replacing it with this. But it is on my mind now, I definitely am aware the bulbs aren't guaranteed in my other Eballasts.

P.S. Suckie thing is I am kind of advertising for Advanced Nutrients right now and their nutrient prices piss me off. lol

yeah, im not a fan of their products but this does look nice, i may look into it more when i make the jump to digital ballasts.

Yepper, this at least sounds promising. A 5 year warranty is pretty sweet if they are not replacing with refurbished junk. I love my magnetic and will hold on to it until the technology gets better and the prices drop.

Basically it is supposed to be the same wave as a magnetic ballast and not hurt your bulbs. Then you have the standard Advanced Nutrient "creative writing" so I can't tell what else is valid claims or creative wording.

AN seems to do their homework for sure. Do you realize the strides they have made in the field of marketing based decision making or brand identity? These guys are fucking the shit!!! Now excuse me, but I'm going to the dealer to pick up my new jeep wrangler after I swing by 7-11 and grab two hot dogs for a dollar and a half rack of budweiser; cause you know when I combine those things I'm going to be playing volleyball with blond models or driving my new jeep up a big rock pile so I can stand and look out over the undeveloped landscape.

what do you guys think about the galaxy ballast with turbo ,1000 watt 600, watt and 400watt selectable digital ballast i picked up mine for 299 + tax the sticker said 399 so i feel i got a decent deal :)

I´m not rushing to change. I only use HID lighting as a supplement and will stick to my old faithful magnetic.

I saw heyre offering a magnetic as well. Theres pics of both in the new risebud. My lumatek has rf interference and makes my nutradip go nutty. The ppms go from 1200 to 5500 when my lights come on. Ive ordered one if these just to fug with but wont swap completely unyil theyve had some time in the field. The new case looks cool

I think it is awesome by drooling over it but no direct experience.. 299 sound pretty damn hard to resist.

ebbensmoke please let us know! I would switch if it was real.. I will still change bulbs every new flowering run, but I would love to get even more out of them for the short term.

Argh. Just when I've saved up some money, AN has to come out with something new. Guess I know where my money is going for the next grow.

I've been nervous about the digital ballasts and have been sticking to the old models, but these sound like they're going to be better for controlling the light in my room. So, I have to say, I'm all about these. I mean, I'm sure other people are going to have good results with their regular lighting conditions, but I'm all for testing out new things.

Even if I have to switch back to Ramen for a bit. LOL. Oh Advanced Nutrients, why do you have to keep coming out with all of these awesome grow tools?

dont waste the extra fees they added to it. this is just a quantum ballast made for them. says quantum right on box. save money and buy a quantum from the guys that actualy make them. this is not the only ballast like it. another bold faced lie from advanced.

i own 10 of the quantum and they are as good as they say. been running them for about a year now and not an issues yet. im running the 600`s

please sont buy into their bs... i bought a bad ass ballast 9 months ago... it will not fire a hps bulb now... when i went back to the authorized dealer for them here they didnt even have any in stock anymore because 80% of them came back with some type of malfunction they gave me a lumatek to make up for it.. hydro store owener sai 16 of the 20 ballast came back!!!! from the looks of it its made in china and slapped with a an sticker
