Second one is definitely a female and is finally growing at a rate i'm happy with, I lst'd her a day or two ago and shes responding well. The large male, I fimmed, LSTed and gave him some 1/3 strength nutes on the last watering a couple days ago and not a hint of nute burn. While i'm upset about the male it's seeming to be useful for experiments and being the guinea pig so I guess thats the silver lining. I'm pretty excited, things finally seem to be going according to plan after a month or so of fuck ups.

I'm gonna give the girly some nutes on the next watering and may fim her pending what the male looks like in a day or two. The third plant is still a munchkin, I transplanted it into some better soil but I'm not sure if its gonna make a difference so I guess we'll see.

Things are growing good, the confirmed female (second biggest plant) has finally started to grow like crazy which is nice. Gave her 1/3 strength nutes on her watering a few days ago, no nute burn to speak of, gave the big male a full dose of nutes 2 days ago and no burn on him either, small plants hasnt gotten nutes yet. The small one is growing better than it has been but it still isnt healthy, i'm not gonna worry about it, i'll hold onto it until it dies unless it just starts getting ridiculous.


I think I seriously fubarred my fim job on the male, its been almost a week, I think and the new growth that I cut just kept growing as leaves so I have a big mess at the top of that plant, any suggestions for next time? I'm thinking I need to cut the growth when its newer and cut it lower, but I have no idea.

Yup, goodly amount of news for you guys. The runt, now named psychotic girl, turned out to be a girl, stoked on that. The she is also growing much better, still slower than the other girl, but its growing noticeably which is more than I can say about before.


I chopped the male down a few days ago, tried to make some oil to cook with out of it but I kind of burned it.


The other girl, Roxanne as shes now known, is growing pretty fucking awesome, she has a little bit or weird stuff going on with a few leaves, I think that may be a function of LSTing her because she looks fantastic besides that.


Also, starting flowering today because of house guests, without having the lights on for 48 hours I can run less fans so its quieter, dont want them to know.

Mini update, after 48 hours of dark, the plants look fucking awesome, the bud sites are getting nice and tasty looking, im excited, they grew a bunch too. I'm a happy camper

Glad you noticed on the name, i've decided that all my plants are getting names from songs that I like.

Roxanne is the Police as you said and Psychotic Girl is a song by The Black Keys.


Thanks for the compliment on the LST, I think i've got it down but the rectangle makes it a little difficult to follow the rim of the pot.

Nice little system for naming, and good choice in music.

Yea I've noticed folks having an easier time with round pots but sometimes ya gotta work with what ya got eh?

Thats pretty much it, rectangles were cheapest and they cover area with less gaps than circles, if it means I have to get a little creative with my LST, so be it.

something you could try with one of them is the crop circle lst....keep it tied down like now..but as it grows tie it down around the rim of the pot..all the way around..till it reaches around the whole pot...its a great way to keep it ultra low..get light to all areas..and create more bud sites.doing it this way makes the whole plant think its the top...so each cola will grow to be the same size as the top

Thats about what i'm trying to accomplish here except im not completely following the edge of the pot. The main stem is maybe 1" higher and 1" inboard of the edge of the pot. I'm just doing whatever the plant says it can take and it seems to be working fine.

nice job on the LST.. I love me some LST... I am doing the same to mine right now! nearly killed one of my White Russians in the process (broke the main stem at the bottom). I am about a week from flowering. I am subbed to yours. Love the names. I need to come up with some for my own.

Psychotic girl seems to actually be a male or hermied or something, I figure I just made a mistake identifying it a few weeks back. Guess its take 2 on making cooking oil. The past day or 2 has gone from bad to worse : (.
