Getting chopped as we speak.
Gotta be a girl
ah understandable thenI would do some clones, but this girl is gonna finish right as I need to leave school for home so I dont really wanna start any clones because i'll have a scheduling conflict.
sounds good bro...maybe look into some jacks classic...decent price...and about covers all your needs..i got the grow and bloom for around $16 for both...but go with what works best...since its getting fed such a small amount...maybe look into start a molasses feeding...will help fatten them buds up and give them a sweeter tasteNo bloom specific nutes yet, i've been using schultz all purpose(10-15-10) for the past 3 weeks starting at 1/4 strength and then transitioning to slightly over the recommended doses for the last week or so. It says to put 7 drops in per quart but for the past few feedings i've been doing 9 drops to the quart with no signs of burn. I'll probably keep upping it until I see signs of problems just because shes already been so stunted and generally tortured since she sprouted and not to mention the budsites that I lost when the lights fell. I water every other day now that shes bigger and every time I water she gets nutes. It normally takes a quart and a half or so to get ~20% percent runoff. The schultz has been working fine but its missing a goodly amount of micronutrients. I'll be buying some dynagro this week to use until she finishes, a lot of people seem to have great results and it has all the micronutrients and its reasonably priced so im planning to use that unless someone else throws a better idea out there.
And thank you for the kind words, i'm glad she came back too, i'd be really miffed if I fucked up now after two months of time invested and so many other set backs. With my schedule for college i'd have to wait until mid January to try my hand it it again and I dont want that at all.
jacks pretty much has all the micro-nutes....only think it does lack is Mag and Cal...im doing 2 grows right now..one in soil..one in a dwc system.im using jacks classis grow and bloom...to make up for the lack of mag and cal i use epsom salt...1 tbls per gallon...takes care of mag...then i put eggshells in my water...cal taken care of.with that..ph'd water and molasses...im getting great results...ill be starting some newly germed seeds in my dwc tonight...so ill know how jacks works in hydro setups.ive got one female plant about 2 weeks into flower right now...its in a 16 ounce plastics part cup (in a party cup cuase of a party cup growoff contest im in on here...i normally never grow in cups..but 3 gallon pots)in this party cup using those nutes ive got a 2 footer...well into flowering...should give me a decent harvest.and if you go looking for it..keep in mind they just did a change of company name...its now jacks classic..can also find it labeled as jack peters...some places have yet to order it under the new nameShit, I knew I was forgetting something, I completely forgot about molasses, should be fine though, its not like theyre finishing any time soon.
I wanted jack's classic because I heard so many good things but there arent any distributors anywhere near me. Theres a pretty well stocked nursery thats maybe 20 minutes away, i'll call them and what they have. I'd rather support local business and not wait a week.
Is not having all the micronutrients in Jack's a big issue or is it usually a not a problem?
Yeah, i also use Schultz all purpose and i use 7 drops for 1 and and half cups of water and i still havnt seen any signs of burn and the plant is only 3 weeks oldNo bloom specific nutes yet, i've been using schultz all purpose(10-15-10) for the past 3 weeks starting at 1/4 strength and then transitioning to slightly over the recommended doses for the last week or so.
