So what i did. soak the rockwool in normal water

then placed seeds on top and covered with one half of a 2 ply paper towel and bagged them up.

this gives a nice air to moisture ratio.....

Well to give you a idea......

fast foward 28 hours

With the heat and moisture
did they crack

ok So overnight we germinated a bunch of new stuff and to be honest these will need 6-8 weeks veggin time. We will watch these in a thread call star gazing very soon. one tray, no moving start to finish from seed AGAIN

To clear room under a 600 watt we had to expand

So here is the new seedlings
there is no easy life here, right out of the dirt they will be under hid......

so there is 16 there and easily double that left. i will get those tonight these 30 plus plants will consume a full tray and as they get taller i will need 2 4x4 trays just for these.

all these numbers are important as BACK UP means tall stretched out plants.

So before i get backed up letsmake a flowering room and look at what is going in there.

so there will be 2 trays and 2 1000 watt fixtures, however they have been on 100% halide, so i want to let them go 2 days @ 14 hours under 600 watt hps
then i will swap to 1000 watt ballast.

i will dial all the tems and configuration later i need to get back to other things......
this is how i do everything, there is so much i simply try to get a little done everywhere

So i made room for the wave of clones that are also ready. another 2 weeks there should be 5 trays in flower, one nearing the half way point.

its all a cycle and starting it up is crazy....... With all the hours spent here i am lacking at another area.......... 6more trays waiting empty, hang in there. the next 2 weeks are getting better and better.

As i get more time i will start to look at the behind the scenes stuff with you too.

Yes i promised one other room tonight. and i will try to get this one photoed too.

I am not the cutting authority. i simply dont cut my plants. those little branches dont bother me. i flower early. on a 400 watt light i feel 14 inches is max penetration therefor i make sure 0 vegging days on clones. this insures plants 12-17 inches. at this height most of the lower branches are equal to the tip or main cola

So in my formula i use a 400 watt 12 inches for 2.5 x 2.5 of good coverage. i
could flower 4 larger plants or 16 smaller.

16 was the key for me max harvest

oooh. ok i see how u do it. well im gunna stop cutting branches off cuz only one turned out to be female and mine started flowerin at 16 inches cant wait to see how it turns out. thanks for that info, much appreciated

what kind of ballast's are u running, 1000w hps? both of them? is the super blue a conversion bulb for hps to MH?

All ballasts are lumatek i have a mix of 400 watter's (not seen here)
600 watt lumatek and pl ballasts and the big boys are 1000 watt lumatek
bulbs range from solar max to hortilux, we use all brands. depends on the lumen output i desire.
