Soo here she is just under two months(2 weeks 12/12) with the bare minimum looking to invest some money soon into the next grow (white widow)
Used...
-Miracle Grow Moisture Control (sucks getting ocean forest fox farm next go)
-Pennington All purpose plant food (not the best but no nute burn).
-2 Fluorescent Light reflectors (2 bulbs each ie. a shop light)
-1 CFL over top of plant.
-1 box fan for exhaust.

And i am asking what you guys think for a first grow so PLEASE COMMENT I only did 2 bag seeds one was male. So far she smells like what i could only describe as a fruity strain of kush. But we shall see.

They are of the 4ft variety and 40 watts each so like i said bare minimum lol. the CFL is something like 32 watts I will check when the light cycle is in progress tonight and get back to you. But i know 2 of the Tubes are cool and two are warm type.

Thanks man. So i been looking at new lights. A HPS Switchable to Metal halide and 600 watt my room is about 3Depthx6Widthx8Height what you think?

Yes you will need at least a 600 for that size room...check out htg supply they have good deals...

Nice man im looking now. Thank You so much!. Now ive read 6 inches and ive read 18 inches and anywhere in between for HPS. Should i go about a 18 inches during seedling stages and then lower to a 6 inches away or what would you suggest with a 600 watt.

Remember a 600 gets hot..and i heard if you hold your hand on top of plant and its comfortable to your hand its ok ...and people who get there lights real close are yousing cool tubes...

Im Using one cool tube one warm tube in each of my current reflectors, like i said i have two but they are basically touching my plant, i was wandering more about the Hetal halide, i have heard that suggestion to so i think i will get a nice fan circulating air and then get a nice exhaust fan to move the warm air then just get the lights as close as possible without burning the foliage on top.

When i said cool tube im talking about the reflector its self not the bulbs..the reflectors have holes on both ends for air ducts so air can pass through and carry the heat from the bulb to outside the grow area...

yes i was looking at something like this http://www.htgsupply.com/growlights.asp?categoryID=1&subcategoryID=155&typeID=55 for my next go i think im gonna have to deal with 400 watt if it stunts grow o well this is only for personal use.

I just bought the same light last month also got the 4 inch inline fan with carbon filter..havent used them yet still waiting to get seeds going to do a sea of green....

Nice what seeds you waiting on, i just got some White widow Feminized. From Dr chronic. You will be doing 12/12 from seed i take it, i have just started a few widows under 12/12 and they are doing well after 3 weeks they are starting secondary growth and im pretty sure im starting to see pre flowers.

Im going to veg 1 or 2 weeks..but seeds are a different story ,,spent seed money on bdays.. But im going to get nirvana aurora indica ,snow white,bubbleicious.and may be master kush and a couple more sets ...i have room for 35 1 gallon grow bags...im dreaming big for this grow...
