Hi im starting to grow and i would like to know what is the best soil and fertilizer to use for a indoor grow. Please help thanks
I went with the original Foxfarm Original Planting mix. You can grow in that soil for at least two weeks (recommended) before you start adding nutes. It's ph balanced. Then go with the grow big (6-4-4).ok thanks. for veggie which foxfarm fertilizer should i use and the NPK
Agreed!!! Except grow area is big enough, but the damn roots out-grow 2x 3 gals double-potted. I think there is a table spoon of magic in fox farms nutes lol! And ya you do gotta tweak their schedule a little bit. Its confusing but there are tons of threads to help you get the mixtures right. My first grow I used FoxFarm soil and the FoxFarm nutrient trio - Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom. I followed the feeding schedule with a few tweaks and never had a single problem except for the fact that the damn plants outgrew my grow area (my fault. I didn't know they were Sativas).
It depends on if its a sensitive strain . I have started all kinds of seeds in FFOF with no burn .I would recommend that if you go with Fox Farms Ocean Forest to pick up Fox Farms Light Warrior also. Use a 2:1 Ratio (2 x FFOF:1 x FFLW). As FFOF by itself can nute burn a plant from seed but with Light Warrior mixed in, it seems to stop that.
miracle grow is no good. try to find a local nursery that sells organic soilok thanks cant really get fox farm in canada...would you recommend miracle grow ?
