problems with neighbor, early harvest... need help

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I've been getting suspicious of my neighbor and Im going to do an early harvest. This is just one plant but im paranoid enough to chop it down.

However, im a bit reluctant to throw away the bud but I doubt ill be able to cure it since I need the smell of the plants to stop immediately. What would happen if I stored all the bud in plastic bags and in a tin box. (I dont have any mason jars to store it) Will mold be able to grow in this environment and will it be smokable in the future?

Any suggestions on what to do?

when you start cutting it up THEN your gunna know what smell is all about,just relax and do it when its in the middle of the night if you have to

hmmm , i wish i could help but i really dont know, i would normally just go give a couple of taps to the neightbor and have him shut up but .. lol i guess not everybody is like me ^.^ . i decided i would write since you get viewers but no comments ..

hmm .. cut it, try and dry it the most you can, then put in a black garbage bag? dont take my word on it but thats what i think id do

i built my self a drying box with a cardboard box,setup the same way as a growroom,just smaller,i built a coffee can carbon ssrubber and power that with a computer fan ,just looks like a box of books sittin there ,its full of Hawaiian Snow right now NO smell

lol..... are you smoking weed when you feel the Neighbor is watching you? you know it has that effect on some people. have you talked to this person? is the person even real? are you really sure you even have a neighbor??? can you understand what animals say and how they feel? HAHAHAHAHAHA

i assume this is outdoor? Mid November... what strain is this that it hasn't already finished. is this your first grow and you happened to not be aware that weed smells? how close is this person to you. are you in a house or apt? i few more answers and maybe we can come up with better ways to help you.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went ahead and pulled the plug on the lights and fans... the smell was greatly reduced since the exhaust was pushing the ganja smell throughout my room. Heres what I'm thinking... any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The strain I am growing is Lowrdyer 2
-currently 40 days from seed (expected harvest is at 60 days for this strain)
-I had 5 CFL light bulbs totaling 160 Watts (it gets really hot!)
-I have a large bathroom exhaust fan

Since the buds are nowhere near potency, I was wondering do you think I could just have one cfl light bulb running for the rest of the grow? The exhaust fan will not be running either. Also, I was planning on getting some ONA gel.

However, I have not had good experiences with oder absoring gels since I bought this from amazon

The smell was too strong and gave away my stealth factor. Is ONA gel any different?

Haha, I can assure you this is real and not just my imagination.

This is an indoor grow and I am living in an apartment. My neighbor is a nice guy but hes commented on how my room smells like marijuana. I've never smoked in my apartment so it has to be the plant.

Is it possible that he's politely hinting that you need to do something about the smell before you get busted and doesn't actually care that you are growing?

jesus! maybe he wants to smoke with you.... Fire it up!!!! if you dont mind me asking where do you live? are you able to get a medical lic for weed? are you in a pot friendly state? i would be more worried about the manager of the apts coming in while you were gone.

This is why i love rollitup, I was parnoid as hell and now I cant stop laughing at your comments.. haha

Heres the lowryder, small but the smell is extremely strong since I live in room the size of a prison cell with little ventilation. The plant is in a one gallon bucket by the way!



I also made this out of desperation. What do you think, will it work and should I place it inside my grow area or outside in my room?

if you get the fallowing....

1. 5 gallon bucket with lid from home depot
2. 1 drill bit with drill ( barrow ) 3/8 - 1/2 inch bit should be ok
3. 1 bottle of extra strong Fabreez
4. 3 gallons of water

Step one- cut a hole in the lid of the 5 gallon bucket so your case fan can fit inside of it with out falling in. ( kinda how you have it on the box )

Step two- Use the drill bit with a drill to drill holes around the outside of the bucket ( fill with 3 1/2 gallons of water first so you dont drill to low and have water every place )

Step three- pour the full bottle of fabreez and 3 gallons of water into the bucket

Step four- place lid back on the bucket so it sits tight

Step Five- place the bucket outside of the grow room, maybe closer to the door.

Step six- plug it in.

what this does is suck air in from the holes you drilled in the sides of the bucket and then the fan pulls out the sent and sends it into your home. this last from 3-5 weeks

** Disclaimer** this in no way is or was my invention, i read this some place on these forums. i would like to give them credit for showing me this, but i was to stoned to remember who it was.

also Props on the ghetto carbon scrubber!!!

my lowryder is around the size of a beer bottle, approx. 50 days in a pc box and the whole room smells like ganja
