Made it through Oregon and over that damn Ashland mountain, 16 miles of freaking misery; 8 miles up - 2,500 ft climb - and 8 miles down - burning brakes all the way. Of course we had to stop in WEED, California! I just love this little town so much. Tomorrow I'll have to pick up some more souvenirs before we hit the road. We have job interviews in Fresno! Poverty really sucks.
what was your setup? you are growing some reall good lookin buds and im new to growing, anything youd reccommend to a newbie?

Damn Ditty... that is the uglyiest fucking avatar I've ever seen. My eyes hurt man, LOL. We're in Clovis, CA for now but will be moving (the company and I didn't like each other) to the Coarsegold / Oakhurst area. Will keep you all updated very shortly. thanks for tuning in!
Tej, I had some small clones in the hydro and the big plants were mostly grown outdoors in organic soil but brought indoors after a close encounter with a couple of helicopters. Finished off under a 1,000w HPS. The clones were taken straight out of the clone machine when they got roots and put into the hydro unit and given 12/12 of T5 light. I used Dutch Masters nutes, simple, cheap enough and easy.

We got moved and settled in. We're in Oakhurst, a smaller town of 13,300 people right at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains and 14 miles from the entrance to Yosemite. If I find some good clones that I can't live witout I'll build a grow tent in the garage or something. Or maybe I'll put up a greenhouse, but one way or the other I will be getting a jump on spring next year. I'm legal and have plenty of land to grow on. BTW, I smoked a little bit of my hash last night; it was super!! I think that is the first time I've ever smoked has without puking. Maybe it's because I know better than to take huge rips!

Not yet Rasta. We're pretty much out of boxes and there is room to build a 6x6 grow tent inside but I haven't gotten my drivers license yet; went to get them and found that I have to have my damn passport or birth certificate. You can become president without a birth certificate but you can't get a fucking California driver's license. Oh well, I have everything now so I should be ready to buy some clones in a week or so. I'm not in any rush for now though; I don't want my plants getting too big before spring.

I didn't have enough light; that's why the yields were low. Basically, this was going to be an outdoor grow and about 2/3 of the way through, a helicopter was flying circles over my house and my grow was about 30 - 40 yards away. I freaked out, just knowing for sure I was busted. As soon as the copter left I was digging the plants up for all I was worth; I about had a heart attack. I ordered a 1,000w system and installed it in my basement and finished them off there. I knew that light was important but I thought I had enough. I know better now; I should have had about 4,000w of light, so the yield was nothing to brag about. I had been out of work for 6 months and before that my business had gone into the crapper due to the economy. So I was spending grocery money to buy the lights and stuff. I never really noticed any stress at all when taking the clones.

I know the feeling PP. I try to share my experience of the grow and for the most part, it goes un-noticed. It can be frustrating to say the least. So go see my grow!!! J/K, stop by if you like. Peace.

Hey PP. Glad you found a place to plant your roots...and I mean that literally.. Soon as my 2 youngest are graduated from high school, we're heading out to AZ. My state doesn't recognize medicinal herb, nor will they for quite awhile I'm afraid. Although I started as a recreational toker over 40 yrs ago, I've developed some health issues which would definitely make me eligible for a MJ card..And though I still toke just for the sake of gettin' buzzed. There are times I use now for medicinal. Making me legit.. I hope all works out in your new domicile! And friend, watch those hugh rips!! LOL. Peace.
