hey dez its been storming all week end which shut down work im so close to harvest ive been contemplating using my extra equip to put someone in buisiness for 1/2 of first 2 grows then give him the whole deal & in the process he learns from the hands on experience & stuff im no longer using gets put to work i was gonna use the 9 ww-x-bb babies & my 3x3 tub with the 600w ive been using i would put up the nutes,babies & the equip. for 2 grows &also use my card at his location. does this sound fair??? he doesnt have the capital or the knowlege to get started & is now buying his stash at market price so i think this could work we could both use the extra product & i would have a use for this strain as my next grow is slh you seem pretty level headed tell me what you think

Thanks bro. BTW it wasn't the SLH that hit the light but a Haze auto. My Sour Grapes was a lot stronger smelling than my SLH.

I'll have to swing by your grow to check it out.

Here's some updated pics of the grow I just took a few minutes ago. They loaded in a weird order so I'll try to make some sense of it.

pic 1 is 3 of the 12/12 from seed girls and one of the Afghan plants sitting below it.

pic 2 is the Raspberry Cough that, no joke, is over 5' tall from the floor. It was small like the Afgan plants when it went into 12/12.

pic 3 is some vegging plants. the party cup is a DOG seedling and behind it is the White Widow mother and behind that is the Jack Herer. There's a Cat Kush and a Headband back there in the corner.

pic4 is 4 Raspberry Cough plants that are clones from the tall one and the plant nearest the camera is the other 12/12 from seed plant.

pic 5 is the 2 autos (Haze and Roadrunner).

pic 6 is Jack Herer again on the left, Cat Kush in the corner, Headband in front of that, another headband to it's right and nearest the camera is a DOG seedling with a headband to it's right that's recovering from nute burn .

pic 7 is the four seedlings again with Purple Haze being the one in the back right.

pic 8 is the three Afghan Kush

pic 9 is my Afgan clones thar are revegging nicely and two of them have started showing lots of new growth already so I topped one of them and supercropped the other.

pic 10 is a Jack Herer clone and a White Widow clone that are on the shelf and the autos are under them.

pic 11 is my bubble cloner that I made in anticipation of clearing the soil clones out to be replaced by some hydro clones.

pic 12 is the same two plants that are closest to the camera in pic 4. the 3gal bag is a Ras Cough and the 1gal pot is a Cat Kush I believe.

pic 13 is the four newest clones still in the dome. They're three White Widow and one Jack Herer.

I'll be following along, I especially want to see how your HB and CK turn out!
One out of three of my HB seeds popped, kinda sucks but I really like how this plant looks.

I'm getting better now and should be good by the weekend.

And yeah, I'm not grumbling about it. I was just a bit bummed since they all germinated fine but three didn't ever pop out of the soil. well, they were in jiffy pellets but all the same. I put my seeds in RW or a seed starter mix soil now.
It's pretty hard to complain when you get a few really nice looking plants out of some freebies and I did get some so it's all good.

Here's a couple pics of the Cat Kush plants that are 12/12 from seed. I'll check to see how many days old they are in a bit and edit this post with the info. I think I'll take pics of the Headband plants that are 12/12 from seed and add them too.

Stretchy there is 15" tall from top of pot and the other is 7"

Here's the other two 12/12 from seed girls (Headband) and some pics of my autos. The 12/12 from plants are all 40 days old and the autos are 48 days old.

The autos seem way big to me compared to the ones I've seen elsewhere on RIU. The stem pics are of the auto's stems. Crazy growth on these girls in the DWC. I think the 150HPS was weak sauce and made them stretch but in addition to the stretch, look how much braching and stuff there is. Next time I do autos, I'll just do them at 12/12 from seed in there with the 600s the whole time.
For a size comparison, those are 5gal bucket they're sitting in and the plants on the shelf above them are in 1gal pots.

Haha yeah, didn't notice that. All good though and yes that one is 15" tall.

The autos are at 800ppm. I won't be going any higher than that because they are right at the point where they'll burn if I go higher. I burned the Haze a bit on a res change with a little higher ppm so I pulled some out and topped off with water. The result was 800ppm and it's been good since.

After looking at it closer I decided it'd be better to take another pic so I pulled that one, LOL.

I don't want to turn it but I noticed on the Haze auto, there's a bunch of buds on the backside of the plant that are smaller than the ones on the side with the light.

I say I don't want to turn it because right now it's tied up and there's a bunch of branches that are all leaning toward the light so if I turned it they would all be against the wall. I'm wondering if the ones close to the light would get fatter if I pruned the back branches all off. I'm also wondering if the buds in the back will be airy popcorn buds if left alone. I guess if they are, they will still make good material for hash, butter and oil.

My tap is just over 400ppm so i'm running a total 1200ppm actually. I just don't count the 400 or so from the tap. Probably not supposed to do it that way but it's worked well for me so far. I seem to get decrent yields and typically have pretty healthy plants.

hey dez thats the way i would do it my tap water never goes higher than 90 ppm i haul my water to my friends house & he loves it nitrogen is the worse culprit for burning plants i havent really used my ppm meter for 3 grows now i do however add epsom salt during early veg. but only once or twice ive become comfortable with my nutes/method & it looks like im gonna do a mixed grow ww-x-bb & slh it goes against everything i believe but i just gotta see for myself

Been wondering that one meself Dez. My tap is at 198-250 ppm. Ive read numerous articles on the topic and have to yey get a definative answer. Im going with your way hehe.

hey dez i chopped today found some mould but not enough to hurt anything im gonna have to heat & vent a little better slh was pretty generous to me & im gonna do all slh next grow heres pics couldnt figure out which ones to post so heres all of em im a proud papa this time

awesome vertical setup! i have a similar setup up in a tent but much smaller heh. Do you turn your plants so both sides face the light? If so how often and do you stop at a certain time? Someone else who was doing a vertical grow said that they stop turning their plants after about 5 weeks of flowering which i didn't understand.
