I have been reading on adding co2 with the sugar and yeast and water in a bottle, and I see that light kills the co2. So do you just leave the bottle in the room the entire time, or remove it with the lights on?
You have it backwards.I have been reading on adding co2 with the sugar and yeast and water in a bottle, and I see that light kills the co2. So do you just leave the bottle in the room the entire time, or remove it with the lights on?
So would it be bad if I left it in the room, if the plants dont use it at night? or just completely take it out of the room? And is it best to do this method during ONLY the last few weeks of flowering or is it a good idea for veg stage also?Yea put it in during the day take it out at night the plants emit co2 at night they dont use it
I have a small grow room, 9 ft ceilings 12x7 floor area, so would this be absolutely useless?Just stop right there. Yeast and sugar arent good enough.
Your breathe has more co2 than that.
Dont buy a burner unless you have 4500 btus of cooling for each 1000watt.
A co2 bottle would be more suitable for a small garden. Have it come on after the ventilation goes off.
Co2 makes your grow more foliage is less time. I think co2 should be used in veg but not 1500-2000 ppms. I notice thicker stalks and more branches in less time.It really doesnt matter IMO. Unless the room is really small the CO2 is not going to build up enough to affect the plants.
It does not make much difference in veg even with an efficient CO2 system.
That isnt small... And you would need a pretty big yeast setup to raise the PPM in a room like that.I have a small grow room, 9 ft ceilings 12x7 floor area, so would this be absolutely useless?

The ideal co2 in any room should be 300+ I think 1000 ppm is veg is good. IMO
But yes the yeast and sugar is no good for anytime in the grow.
The homemade co2 is always debated back and forth some say its worthless others says it works fine, me personally i think it works fine I use 2 gatorade bottles sugar yeast warm water. Again others will say its useless i say it cant hurtSo would it be bad if I left it in the room, if the plants dont use it at night? or just completely take it out of the room? I think we all can agree on that...it cant hurt
