co2 during dark hours only?

I have been reading on adding co2 with the sugar and yeast and water in a bottle, and I see that light kills the co2. So do you just leave the bottle in the room the entire time, or remove it with the lights on?

You have it backwards.

Plants do not use CO2 at night so you would only need it during lights on. And light does not kill CO2.

Yup what he said, now go and find the person who told you that and tell them to go find the biggest stick they can and bring it back so you can hit them with it. LMFAO

Yea put it in during the day take it out at night the plants emit co2 at night they dont use it
So would it be bad if I left it in the room, if the plants dont use it at night? or just completely take it out of the room? And is it best to do this method during ONLY the last few weeks of flowering or is it a good idea for veg stage also?

Just stop right there. Yeast and sugar arent good enough.
Your breathe has more co2 than that.
Dont buy a burner unless you have 4500 btus of cooling for each 1000watt.
A co2 bottle would be more suitable for a small garden. Have it come on after the ventilation goes off.

It really doesnt matter IMO. Unless the room is really small the CO2 is not going to build up enough to affect the plants.

It does not make much difference in veg even with an efficient CO2 system.

I have a small grow room, 9 ft ceilings 12x7 floor area, so would this be absolutely useless?

Co2 makes your grow more foliage is less time. I think co2 should be used in veg but not 1500-2000 ppms. I notice thicker stalks and more branches in less time.
The ideal co2 in any room should be 300+ I think 1000 ppm is veg is good. IMO
But yes the yeast and sugar is no good for anytime in the grow.

I have a monitored CO2 system running at 1500PPM during lights on. Both chambers are in the same room so they all get it.

My point was, with a hand made yeast system you are not really going to get good performance in bloom much less veg.

Honestly this is the very LAST thing people should focus on about a grow. Unless your light, temps, nutes and such are dialed in, adding CO2 isnt going to make a difference.

The homemade co2 is always debated back and forth some say its worthless others says it works fine, me personally i think it works fine I use 2 gatorade bottles sugar yeast warm water. Again others will say its useless i say it cant hurt

the only time i used yeast for c02 was the only time i used a 1000w so i dont know if that shit worked or if it was the increased lumens but in my mind i was like their loving this homemade yeast shit..i saw a video where a guy used the yeast method then had a c02 tester and showed the c02 level before then after and it worked for him
