BTW! Another reason to do that several times a day on trying to get CO2 into the grow room. I also use this as an reason to check the plants for mites, etc. and fix it right away. Instead of waiting for the next feed cycle and discover problem(s) that happens quickly. Been there, done that too. So you have to experience and adapt to what works for you for certain strains, mediums, lights, etc. I found out that Blue Dream strain does not get PM even when right next to Caramelo strain that does gets it and had to spray both with B. soda and high PH water weekly. I got tired of that and now spray ahead of the situation and haven't been seeing any PM because I'm doing preventative maintenance now instead of waiting for the problem to crop up. I also use an sponge soaked with azamax in it to wrap around the base stem permanently to use as an preventative measure against mites as I have not seen any of those now instead of spraying directly on the buds. As for gnats, I use non toxic yellow ribbons under the panty hose that I use on top of the pots to keep them in there and change ribbons when have to..... No one showed me, I did the research and tried it myself. (even tho I had to clear myself off of MMJ and increase vicodin to get some of this stuff tried and done). Some things works and some things don't. What works for me does not always means it works for you. Too many variables. Now you know why some of us keep journals to see what strain, why, when and what works. This also the reason why some of these techniques are always argued about. If you are coming around to say that anyone can grow this stuff. You are right except that, will they put the effort into seeing what works for certain situations? I'm starting to sound like an old hippie now. C-YA!
