I have had the shittiest time trying to get past the seedling stage as a new grower....(hobbiest) Everytime I get good germination...seedlings come up for about a week and then fall over and die. At first I thought it was to much heat, then I thought it was not enough air movement...come to find out I have a fungis attacking my plants...this is called Damping -Off...here is a deffinition I pulled from Google. Anyways I have probably been over watering my soil to begin with. What technique do you use to starts your seeds?

Damping-off is a term used for a variety of fungal problems that lead to sudden seedling death. [1] Beginners and experienced gardeners alike are frustrated and disheartened when it strikes. The pathogens attack the tender stems and roots of the seedlings. Some seedlings look pinched at the base of the stem, others flop over, and some wither away entirely. Once the process is underway, it’s hard to save even a few of your plants. Prevention is the best cure.

O'k sorry about that im still a lil terminology challenged lol, so anyway i just germ under paper towel as most do and that if i put the germed seed cups over the stove where we all have that lil half a cabinet its just warm enough to get a good healthy sprout and i do use a humidity dome on each cup with seed.once they sprout i wait two full days and then go under lights and fan the main thing to remember is to give your seedlings air and holes at the bottom of cups to drain excess water or it can sit in the bottom of the cups and drown your young roots...

ive had fungus problems at times with gnats on roots and in soil but never that early if yours is starting this early you may need to bake your soil before use as well, and watch out for soil that is high in nute from start and time release soils...

Hey thats good to know, i hope it's not from reefermans collection..glad you mentioned the blue it's dried very well and been in jar for a couple days i'm going to check it in a minute to see whats up..

So here are the final weights from the girls i know i'll still lose a few grams after the long cure but this should be around the final total give or take a few grams...

the SDG came out to be 41.6 grams total dry as of now..
and the SB came in at just over 35 grams dry so far.so about 3 ounces dry as of now..
One thing i did on this harvest was remove all the buds from the major branches to dry them and the drying went a lot better for me and the wet weight compared to the dry weight was a lil more true as well, about 1 gram dry to about 3.5 wet and they did'nt over dry and are curing very well..here's a couple of pics of the bud's in cure now..

The Darker buds are the SB and the Lighter ones are the SDG, i threw in one more pic of the hermie PK just for kicks..:

Yeah for sure the SDG was pretty much the top dawg when it came to how high you can go i'd give her about an 8 and thats only because the high last so long, im not kidding you still feel it like 4-5 or six hours later..As for the SB it's not far behind but not as knock down stoned and it could be also though because i did'nt go for the couch lock on the SB as i ended up with on the SDG so i'll give it a 7 great high but not going to knock you out..Yet the taste will keep you smoking so you'll eventually get toasted..

Yeah i think the total i came up with is 63 me and the old lady just went through the whole PK and removed all the seeds we were sticky and stinky after but well worth it thePK is still very smokeable just no more large buds...

Shit i had a purple pheno Frisain Dew go herm and had over 200 seeds, but i was glad that it was the only strain that hermied and "gave" most of the seeds away...

By the way i've heard of the Dutch Masaters stuff, is it only for use with fem seeds? i mean it wont do nothing for the herm seeds i have ?

on my hermi seeds...

It would either give u a true male or a true female...
It turns hemies into female...

The direction's of Dutch Master Reverse say not to dilute,
but i bought the stuff and always used a cap full of solution
to a full spray bottle and shook it up real good then really
doused every node and leaf till the bottle was empty.

I haven't seen a seed or a hermi female since i swear to u...

Im bout to order a new bottle soon, they'er round $20.00

Hell yes if you think about it trying it cant hurt at all if i run 20 / 30 beans and get say 8 females im very happy hell i may even just bunch those babies in there and lolli pop them going for one main cola each or something..

By the way for any one interested im going to keep this thread alive and us it as my base for the seeds i retained from the hermie PK plant and see what i can get from the seeds..I have found about 8 seeds in the SDG plant so it may have got some pollen on the bottom portion dont know but if so I'll have PK x SDG fem seeds...No seeds in the SB though..
