Thank guys, I hope it goes well, my first girls were with cfls in a closet.
Ill have to start with two little clip ons then more soon, Im BROKE now.

The one I linked to was under the oscillating category.

EDIT: I went to Air King website and it doesn't say anything about that fan oscillating. Two different websites that I've done business with both have them in their oscillating fan category. I guess I'll buy one and find out......

Hi everyone, I'm new to grow tents, i have it setup but I don't know the excact way to put the filter and the fan....I have a 4" growbright high velocity inline fan with filter in a 56x56x78" grow tent with 600mh/hps conversion...........
correct me if i'm wrong but should it be like this:...

FILTER--DUCT--LIGHT--DUCT--FAN sucking from light and filter and blowing outside the tent.......

any suggestions or comments are more than welcome......

my ladies are 10 days old now but I think i have some heat issues.........

It should be duct-light-duct-fan pulling hot air out and pushing thru -filter or you can have it like fan- ductlight-duct-filter with the fan pushing air out of filter.
The way you got it sounds like the filter would be there for nothing..

I've seen pics on this forum done like that(sucking air from tent thru the filter, then thru the light, then thru the fan and out.

I'm getting ready to plumb mine this week (if I can stay away from the pipe :) )
I'm going to try and mount my fan and filter outside the tent (sucking air from tent, then thru the fan, and then out the filter) but, if the fan is to noisy, I'll probably try it your way.

I mean what benefit will you get from the filter if you are not even pushing air thru it???
Sounds like you are filtering the tent then pulling out the odor from the plants which would make it reak of cannabis still defeats the purpose of having a filter..

When I was looking at filters, some claimed, they could be used sucking or blowing?

Logically what use is it for sucking air thru a filter if you are using the filter to rid the smell of your flower room.
I mean this is common sense right here...lmao

If you put the filter in the tent and pull the inside tent air thru the filter, then thru the light, then thru the fan, and then out of the tent into the room that the tent is in...I am told that is called "scrubbing"
