Dude, California sun is the shit!! In my opinion, outdoor is the way to go! I mean, the sun is free, cali is great for growing, yields are big, season ends late...it's a good situation. Indoor is cool, it's keeping me busy in the winter months, and it'll be fun to have a little something to smoke on for free while I wait till fall. But I got these big ol' smartpots for outdoors, gonna plant in those suckas, plant some in 35 gallon rubbermaid containers that I slightly modified, and some straight in the ground. I might have a couple going in 18 gallon pots too, shit, i'll just cut the bottoms off so when they get strong they can bust right through the natural soil. It's gonna be a fun little experimental grow, trying lots of techniques and methods next outdoor season!

But I digress, you're gonna veg for 3 months inside before sticking them out? LST'd or not, those might end up being some monsters. I think I might just veg mine till they're strong enough to go out and not collapse if a butterfly lands on them...haha j/k. I was thinking about 12-18 inches, so however long that takes, I'm thinking 6 weeks or so. But your plants are looking awesome, keep your thumbs green! I cant wait for a smoke report...Maybe one of my clones wil survive and we'll harvest around the same time!

Ok so i haven't done anything to them since i watered the other day ..
they are getting pretty dry so im going to water tommorow right before lights come on ..
I found my charger to my camera so i have some better pics this time
from the looks of it my main cola will be HUGE im kicking myself in the ass now for not topping her lol
im just glad i took some clones before i made the switch

So obviously i got two different strains one looks like the lighter plant a mix of sativa/indica and the darker plant looks like its mostly sativa (probably why its flowering a little slower)

BAsically what ive been hearing about molasses is "it promotes beneficial microbes in the soil to allow the plant more available nutrients from organic matter. You defeat the purpse if you use chemicals "

So basically i guess it makes the nutrients in the soil easier for the plant to use up
Some say it adds weight to the buds too, but that is probably only because the plant used up more nutrients than it would have if you werent watering with molasses

Molasses is basically PURE sugar Suger = Carbohydrates

dam kush, i just watered my plants and forgot all about the molasses, then i read your post and was like shit, i forgot the molasses, LoL, oh well. heres something i have in my notes about molasses also.

I will also use Grandma's Molasses, 1 tablespoon per gallon during both vegging and flowering and even during flushing. GrandMa's Unsulfured Molasses. Yellow label on bottle. The CalMag and Iron in GrandMa's is higher in percentage than what Pure Blend Pro CalMag is too. You can use it during the entire veg and bloom. If used in veg, just give once weekly at 1 tbls per gallon. Same amount throughout bloom, including during the flush phase. Makes your buds very sweet and good after a proper dry and cure. Treat it like any other CalMag product basically.

well really about every day, the soil drys up pretty fast. i give them the FF nute juice on sunday, tuesday, thursday and saturday. molasses on wednesday, and then plain rain water in between, these 2 girls drink up some water, im sure the bucket things im using are completely full of roots. if i would have used the 4 gallon buckets, i would have really been out of room in the box.
