I noticed in your transplanting video, after you put the SS in the buckets, I noticed you put some root and biobizz and mixed it around with the SS. My question is did you mix basic soil in the with ALL of the SS, or just the few top inches of the SS? Leaving a few inches of untouched SS at the bottom. In the video its hard to tell if you are mixing the bottom of the bucket

Funny you talk of people repeating questions yet you are doing the same thing & since the man of across the pond at the Cup this week I will fill in to help out

This is our victim & her new home


This is how I break down my container


This is measured at the top of the Super Soil


This is measured at the top of the mix of Super Soil & regular soil


Make a hole with regular soil in a bowl shape


Pull the old plant & put in the new container




Fill dirt to make it level & I like to mix in the old container's soil with the new soil


Water & tag it


Happy holiday's

nice man, your the bomb. i just use foxfarm ocean forrest soil. its is working pretty good for me so far.

Hey sub i was curious about using your super soil recipe on my auto flowering strain la diva, but wasnt sure if that was the best idea due to different growing methods. Im using 4 gallon pots at the moment and was wondering the proporitons that you would suggest personally and possibly any other tips you might have...

No point in subscribing, just read the thread. And ignore all the people saying "I know what you said is right, but I have this totally different idea that I demand your opinion on!!!"

The SuperSoil recipe has been updated, look for SubCools 2010 SuperSoil. And it works great, I have a test run going and many others have tried it. About $200 worth of stuff for several AWESOME grows.

OK I am thinking of using this super soil mix for the 2011 outdoor season. I'm just wondering if anybody has found a base soil that is compairable to Roots Organic that can be found at Wal-Mart or Home Depot?

I vegged for longer than normal due to mites, and my plants are fading with 5-6 weeks left. What should I give them? I already top dressed as much as I can, they are heavy feeding sativa's in half super soil(10 gallon pots).

You could supplement with something like the Earth Juice Line of ferts, those ferts are all organic and won't kill your beneficial bacteria and mycorhise like supplementing with mineral salt based ferts will do, Earth Juice is just like re-amending your super soil. I am actually supplementing with Earth Juice in the opposite way, I didn't let my soil "cook" before transplanting so I am using EJ (aerated EJ tea w/ added benificals) while the "microherd" is building and making the organics in the super soil available to the plants and I should be able to go to watering only in a week or so.

A happy healthy plant will provide this, super soil will help with assuming your plant is under the right growing conditions with temp / light / water

It all plays in together like making a cake

you say not to let the roots com into direct contact with super soil when first transplanying into final 7 gallon pot, but about how much straight roots organics soil would you recommend i put in between the tips of my roots and the supersoil mix to create that buffer zone you speak of? 4 inches or more or less ?

i mix the top inch of SS with a inch of reg base soil... then i add another inch or two of base soil on top of that... hope this helps man
