(SR71) Purple Kush Med Grow

It's all good man. This is Purple Kush from the old SR71 club in SF .. now Blue Sky. It is the oaksterdam clone only version. There are a lot of purple strains out there, but the SR71 PK is my favorite. It doesn't get as purple as grand daddy, but IMHO is a higher grade smoke. There is a Vegas strain and a lot of the seed companies are comming out with their version of purple kush. Erkle if you can find the original clone only strain is bomb as well, but there are many strains out there being called Erkle that aren't the orignal. Watch for some stretchy plants with the GDP, it will get tall if you let it.
I would like to get my hands on some Jedi Kush, which is very close to pk, but yeilds are bigger and she turns a darker purple.

The Purplr Kush clones they had at the club here all come from Bluues sky, but I didnt like the way they looked honestly. They were not looking very healthy, and I wasnt gonna pay $15 each for clones that looked sick. I really went there for the PK though. Oh well maybe next time they will have a better selection of clones. THey have the Blue Sky Erkle there sometimes as well. I might get one of those next time as well. Jedi, and Vegas strains are new to me though.

I appreciate the compliments. They have 2 weeks to go, the last week they will only get straight ph'd water. They usually finish right at 56 days, but some times I let them go to 60 depending on the trichome maturation. The PK always seems to really show her stuff the last couple of weeks. They just started showing some purple in the buds.

Cool an 8 week strain! Are most indicas around the same time length?

Most that I have grown are and I have even had some that finished at 7 weeks. I try to plan on 60 days to flower, but rarely go the full 60. My last round of Orange Crush Diesel went 67 days though, and they didn't really do much after day 56. I had some mango that would finish at day 49 which was a nice quick strain indoors and finished outdoors in late Sept

I guess you let them get really amber for some potent smoke.

They do grow faster in hydro and the CO2 also gives them a boost and I have harvested them at 7 weeks in the past. I let them go 8 though to get them nice and hard.. they finish as dense as styrofoam

$15 is cool, just not to do a grow. I dont wanna buy 30 clones, so I gotta wait till they are big enough for me to make my own clones. Not sure how long that takes, but I will see. Actually a friend of mine has the mango blue dream hindu skunk and 1 other that I cant remember right now. He gets them from Same place and sells me the clones for $10. I got the others direct though as he doesn't have them. I think he should just give me he clones for free......lol.

Oh the other one he has is 707 headband.

Yea man, I haven't grown it, but I usually pick some up when I see it. It really gets some crazy bud colors and is a great high.
