couple feet man, a 2 week old plant does not need much.
ditto on that LOL, what's wrong with you people, MJ is able to sprout and thrive in full summer sun, there is no reason on earth to to have a florescent light two feet away. Two inches is more like it.lol a couple feet with a fluorescent light....anyone say stretch?
Well yea, I start a seed in soil and in two weeks I got a seedling that is working on its second set of leaves. During this time it doesn't need much light. I's not like I haven't done this before. I use about a quarter the amount of nutrients that's recommended, never touched molasses and have grown in all three types of hydro, my six plants in soil last year net me over seven pounds of meds.
You wanna tell a noob to put his light on top of his seedling?
Shit, I don't care but don't imply I don't know what I am talking about.
I wasn't implying anything I'm telling you outright you are spewing bullshit.don't imply I don't know what I am talking about.

2 weeks old working on it first set? at 2 weeks mine are 6-8 inches tall with 4 or 5 nodes........your plants really take that long to get going?
3-4 inches. like i said earlier as long as you can hold the back of your hand under where the plants top will be heightwise for like 30-60 seconds and it doesnt get uncomfortbley warm your good, if not raise the light a 1/2 inch and retest until you find the right distance.yeah how hight should i put that bulb from my seedling
