Looking for Al B. Fuct style sog growers, my new op specs

Hey everyone!

This is my first post, but I have to say I love this site, an absolute savior!
My style op is an al b. fuct style sog grow. Thanks to Al B. i'm probably years ahead of where I'd be without his knowledge, but years away from his level of execution. Ebb and flow recirculating system, changed every 11 days. Strain is supposedly Blue Bonic a cross between Kooteny blueberry and Blue satellite #2.2 or . Definitely indica dominant with a lemon head taste. Uplifting high that keeps creeping without all that couch lock paranoia.

The veg room is 1 250 watt cooltube under an AAW run 18/6, with 2 Baby Bloomer trays supporting 6 moms total. They are flooded 15 minutes every 1.5 hours with no under/overwatering issues. This area also supports 1 2'*2' tray of 16 sog plants in veg for 11 days, due to lack of height during flower (16" max). The flower room inline fan exhausts the air from the veg room into the flower room and out through the attic.

Clones are done in a homemade 5 gallon rough tote with 2" mesh pots with hydroton. Clones are dipped in Clonex root gel, then put in the mesh pots with hton and the cloner has (4) 16" air tube bubblers on the bottom for aeration. I use 2ml each veg, micro, and bloom per gallon. results are great, about 11 days to have useable root structure to transfer.

In the flowering room are (4) 2'*2' trays with 16 plants per tray, each square 5"*5"*5" pots. Pots are hydroton, and are flooded 3.5" for 8 minutes 7 times during lights on, with the last watering being done 1 hour before lights off. They are flowered under 12/12 by a 1000watt cooltubed light, connected to a large AAW, approximately14" from the tops. Exhaust is a 400cfm inline fan that exhausts 15 minutes every 1.5 hours, also pulling air from the house into the veg room then through the flower room and finally out . A/C keeps everything at 74 degrees Fahrenheit, and a 15 pint per day dehumidifier keeps the humidity at 50%. 1 large circulating fan in the corner keeps the air moving. I run a sulfur burner for 8 minutes 1 hour before lights on, and 1 hour after lights off. 3 months in and no sulfer burn, no powdery mildew.

The system environment is tightly dialed, however I am still very new at this. A lot of money and research went into this, many thanks to Al B. Fuct for that. My nutrients are the 3 part gh, and I use the Lucas formula (0-8-16) for moms , and also add calmag and fulvic acid to the tray of sog in veg. week 0-2 is strictly lucas formula and floralicious plus, week 3-4 uses lucas formula plus Floralicious plus and liquid kool bloom. week 5 introduces powder kool bloom as well. Flushing starts beginning of week 6, so far I am flowering for about 7 weeks 2 days, or 52 days. pH is always 5.8 I have harvested 4 trays so far, averaging about 4-6 oz per tray. All of these harvests were 9 inch clones moved straight to flowering, finishing 12-14 inches by 52 days. Now, with the pre-vegging 11 day period, the plants are now about 15-16 inches by weeks 3-4, but I have yet to see them fully finish. I feel like I'm getting to the 30 inch height that most are getting.

No nute burn, light burn, ph, or other signs of stress are evident. No yellowing of any leaves throughout flowering either. The colas are caked with resin, and the sugar leaves look ridiculously crystaly. Nice mold resistant strain obviously.

With all of that being said, I was looking for others with similar grows or grow journals or posts, or anything, especially with the nutrients that I have. GH 3part, fulvic acid, floralicious plus, Liquid kool bloom, powder kool bloom, and cal mag. I've done a few batches with these, and some with just lucas formula 0-8-16. I've found that the lucas with the additives results in better results. I'd like to use all 3 parts in flower, maybe 5-10-20 grow/micro/flower to correct random N deficiencies along with floralicious plus liquid kool bloom and powder kool bloom, but haven't seen anybody that has tested it. My concern is that I cannot seem to get to the 1400 ppm range that the gurus here do. I peak out about 1.6 ec or 1120ppm @ .7. The lucas formula at 8 ml per gallon of micro and 16 ml of flower only starts the plant at 1.1 ec or 770ppm @ .7. Moms in veg are lucas formula 8ml micro per gallon, 16 ml flower per gallon. In flower I use 5 ml Liquid kool bloom per gallon, .25 ml floralicious plus per liter , and 1/4 teaspoon per gallon or 1.25 grams powder kool bloom per 4 liters . In veg, 10 ml per gallon of fulvic acid, 5ml cal mag per gallon. Is this low ec the culprit of low height, I'm pruning week 3 and 4 low branches that are over 1" long. The canopy is full but light gets to the plants.

Long story
Thanks if you took time to read this. Hopefully someone here can spot any glaring problems or find a problem with my low ec concerns.

Thanks Flam and Dr. Green. As soon as I can get a camera link to my computer, I'll post pics.
Anybody have any hydro sog experience with this strain Blue Bonic? It has a lemony flavor that finishes sweet, almost like a lemon drop, not really reminiscent of blueberry except in the smell. Very smooth smoke.

Blue bonic is my only experience. 4 harvests in and i like it, but just can't get it tall enough, and about the bottom half puts out long side branches if I don't trim. only about 5.5 oz from 16 plants in 5 " pots. 16" is the max from 9" clones, so thats why I veg 11 days under a 250 W hps. the moms blow up like crazy, though, and produce plenty of thick stemmed clones. I think it would rather be bushy than trimmed like sog, though, but I'm still working it out. my first harvest was 3 old cloning moms under 1k W hps for 10 ozs dry, really bushy plants about 35" tall. haven't smoked the ww since 1998, still my all time favorite. Those plants look awesome! how tall are they at 3 weeks, and what is the peak height? Are those 5" pots in hydroton? What's your tray spacing?

ps the finished product is awesome. Uppy stone that continues elegantly for hours, no real paranoia or couch lock. My preferred smoke now, best bet for that daytime dilemma. It will not ruin your day, but avoid toking it at night, its like aderol. could be me, but I've been smoking it for 3 months, and usually by then I build a tolerance to that strain, but not the blue bonic, must be luck. I'm a noob, but i think it's a keeper.

i have been getting 4 oz'z off 5 ladies so i decided to go with a zero veg time and pull .5 oz single cola's off 30 im cramming in a 2x4 tray should be up to 30 in a few weeks i only have to moms at the moment and they just cant put out that kind of clones so i got 6 more in the clone dome waiting. that plant is about 20" tall and the pots are 6x6x7 in hydroton.

for moms I use 2 Baby bloomers with 3 square mesh pots filled with hydroton, the moms are bubbleponic clones, no rockwool gives me freedom to water as often as I like (15 minutes every hour, 18/6) I run 16 clones per 2'x2' tray, and I have plenty to pick from. the Baby bloomer is compact, the tray fits on top of the res, making it good for small spaces, though before you clone, those full moms use a lot of water, so you have to top off every day.

i hear ya man i had my moms in a separate flood tray just recently switched to 5 gal hempy buckets they work great and only have to feed once a week i love them.

for those that use cooltubes, do you use the light diffuser to break up hot spots? I do, but feel that it creates dark spots especially directly underneath the bulb. Thoughts?

thx hellraizzer :) what is your ml per gallon of micro/bloom now?
sorry it took so long
this formula is for a 55gal res, I added grow due to a nitrogen DEF.
1) grow 440ML 8ML / gal not lucas
2) micro 440ML 8ML / gal lucas
3) bloom 880ML 16ML / gal lucas

sups im using also
1) AVN Big bud 200ML
2) AVN B-52 100ML

TOTAL ppm is 1200 and is very PH stable, never have to adjust PH through res cycle
no burn or lock up

thank you sir, gonna give that ratio a try with floralicious plus and liquid kool bloom. Last questions and i'll leave you alone, is that 1200 on the 500 side or the 700 side of a truncheon blue lab, or what ec are you getting, is this your solution throughout the entire flowering cycle aside from flushing, and do you top of with plain 5.8 pH water or nutes. Sorry to bother, just can't get enough knowledge.

thats on the 500 side I think like 2.2 or 2.3 id have to go check, I also use the blue labs truncheon meter.
one thing watch that kool bloom 0/10/10 go with the g/m/b base line nutes first then your sups
and the kool bloom last and work your ppms up little by little. seen alot of stuff get burned by kool bloom, Ive
got a gal of it and I dont use it. well I use a 55gal res so by the time im needing to add back its time to due
a res change anyhow every 1 1/2 weeks. so no add back needed so far, at 1200 ppms I hope to run the mix
to the end but I have plans to add avn bud candy at some point. now in veg I run the same mix, babys
are GH maxi grow at 500ppm and home and gardens root stimulater good shit. dont be sorry to ask question
what were here for good luck

sweet hellraizer, 2.3 on the 500 side is about 1200, I was going on the 700 side. Gonna try a 5-10-20 ratio during week 0-2, tone it down to 8-8-16 and add some Liquid KB in week 3-4, then add Powder KB in week5-6, water till week 8. I'm gonna stop using Floralicious plus for now, I don't think it is compatible with H2O2. Anybody out there know when is too early to start using Powder Kool Bloom?

Some fan leaves on my plants are turning up on the ends of there leaves in week 5-6, only lucas formula, 5.8pH, standard ppm for lucas. no browning, plants look great. just a few weird fan leaves. I'm thinking this is that N def that Al B. Fuct warns about for the lucas formula. Anybody experienced this?
