Can You Tell The Difference?

Ok, so I did a grow https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/378470-confined-space-850w-led-master.html using 5 x 170w hybrid led panels growing master kush, my pal grew clones from the same mother under 1000w hortilux hps...

One of these buds was grown with LED and the other was grown with HID, can you tell which is which? Left or Right?

You have altered and manipulated the photos. You need to post pics of the nugs side by side, untouched. No manipulation or alteration. That's the only way to tell.

I would say the bud on the left is led.Now my question is do they weigh the same?

the bud on the left weighs 11% more than the bud on the right...

Bud on the left weighs in at .70 g the one on the right is .63g (just re-weighed them now)

I'd say left LED because it's more in focus. Can I see the 2 plants side by side? I'll tell you which is which.

The buds basically are from the same plant, same mother spawned both clones that produced these buds. Only difference is that one was grown under a 170w led and the other was grown under a 1000w HPS.

Damn, I was thinking it would have been cool if they were secretly both LED and everyone who voted for HID would be put out.

If you're trying to prove that LED is better or as good as HID, you're gonna have to do better than that. Show us the plants!

My point is that this is not a very scientific comparison nor does it prove anything. That bud from the 1000hps could be a freaking popcorn nug from under the canopy and the LED bud could be a top or part of a top. Without comparing the harvest as a whole this thread proves fuck all. Not saying you can't grow decent bud with LED but I highly doubt your harvest was comparable to his.

I can take a wispy lower bud from an led grown pant and compare it to a bud near the top of an hps grown plant. Seems fair huh? This is exactly what this guy is doing.
