Sorry I've been away for a bit...lol...

So the LC is doing... ok?! I think... looks like jizz as you described... but it is forming around black specks which I suspect is sediment that came in the water...

I did one jar... some honey ... PC'd it... shook the syringe and dribbled some in there... literally... didn;t even use the needle...

I'll take a pic and post...

the black bits in the lc are spores, big clumps of them, no prob...

Right on!

I made 2 small holes on the lid... covered it up with a clean and dry clorox wipe... covered the top with aluminum foil, which I lift up every other day or so...

Should it be totally covered? like pitch dark? I only have the top 1/2 covered...

The LC seems to hang out at the bottom.... is that normal?

And it seems to be going slow, but I have it in a random place in the house... on a shelf behind some stuff... probably a little on the cool side... not 100% sure but I think it varies between 65F ~ 75F.

And I would guess it has grown to about enough to fill a ketchup packet...

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post... sorry.. camera's dead...

I don't really do the whole "social experience" thing online... please don't take offense, I have zero friends and belong to zero clubs...lol...

your temps are fine,light or dark is not an issue, you have enough lc in a ketchup packet to shoot dozens of qts of grain, yes it does sit on the bottom...

Tinfoil over the top? explain that, have a top on it with a filter? get rid of tinfoil.

Wait it is a lc so if you have a tinfoil top it can work, but will fail soon due to rips and such...

Just 2 open holes... with the cloth clorox wipe over the whole lid... with foil over the cloth... the cloth and foil are folded down around the lid and cover about 1/2 the jar...

Anyway I always liked shrooms,I researched growing them a lot a couple years ago and was about to set up but some shit popped up.
I gotta get back into it.I forgot a lot of the stuff I learned lol.But I'll be following this thread.
They seemed a lot easier to grow then weed to.
 
dude if u want any help just hit me up i have been growin for a while, and u never want to open a jar or put hole in after u knock the jars up , they wiil contam well increses yr chances to about 80 percent ,unles u did it under a flow hood then u can do that as much as u want , thats how i do my g2g under a home made hood or in a clean air box

PIC?

Use some lc and spores, the only way to for sure know if an lc is good is to noc something up, so noc something up and do some spore solution also.
