If the Fed's want to make an example out of you. You would need millions to stay out of jail. If you have millions, you wouldn't be in the position of growing and selling marijuana cigarettes. Haha, I said marijuana cigarettes, I am giant dork. Anyway, point being.. courts know that the system is overcrowded with non-violent criminals and sentence people accordingly. If they want to stick it to you, they will.

Pffft, 5K? hahahaha The state I used to live in has a 7 plant limit. I just took 6 cuttings two days before the cops came knocking. Even though I had a medical card, and even though the Cuttings had no roots I got slammed, and after $12K and 2 1/2 years I still got a gross misdemeaner. I plead out because they ran me out of money. If you have just $5K for a lawyer, save it for when you get out of jail. It will be more usefull that way.

yea, but most lawyers want at least half upfront, well criminal lawyers anyway. but yea i dont understand some state laws. my state isnt medical, but 1 plant has the same punishment as 10, after that its the same up to 99.

but seriously, if you must ship do it as fast as possible. Get there right before closing time and send it for am delivery. Kind of hard to have a drug dog sniff the package if it's on a plane or truck. Not impossible, but less likely.

I also disagree that your buddy will be in trouble for having drugs addressed to him. Will certainly make them suspicious, and they may place him under surveillance, but no way that actual package can get him in trouble. I mean just think about it; If you ship something illegal to someone how can they get in trouble for it? Certainly suspicious, but they can't do jack shit. Otherwise people would just ship contraband to enemies and get them busted before they ever even get the package.

Not smart to have called from your cell phone. I would have done phony address, name, and phone. Then I would only call from a payphone so there is no way to trace it back to you.

SWAT was waiting for him to answer the door and get the package before they busted shit up, scared his family, killed his dogs, and all to discover he had absolutely nothing to do with said package of illegal goods (box with marijuana in it, they weren't sure who sent it I believe but they knew what it was and what was in it before he ever did)
