I read a story a few years back. There is something that is like a piece of dough/dumpling that they fry in pork grease. To them it is like a hot dog to us. The problem was places were taking garbage cardboard, soaking it to a paste to look like a piece of bread and fried it up and sold it. The strong grease covered the difference and for awhile no one knew if they were getting the real thing or not. And they were getting the cardboard off the streets and alleys.

The rice in the U.S. isn't good because its all GMO the pollen from GMO stuff gets into your rice so no one wants it

I think it is tasty, but I get your point. It is almost impossible to keep a pure crop in this country anymore. There is too much GMO pollen moving around from the GMO crops. Everything gets cross contaminated sooner or later. Remember the Starlink modified feed corn a decade or two back? It was not intended to human consumption due to "unknown allergy risks" and it got loose and contaminated a lot of acres that had to be destroyed. To this day, Starlink genes/DNA is still found in the majority of our human food corn. Once it is out of the bottle, you can't put it back in.
Hell, I am going to grow heirloom vegetable seeds this year, but it is only a matter of time before someone elses garden in town with modified seeds of the same thing contaminated mine and ruins my seed collection for the next crop.

This is technically highly illegal now btw, thanks to Monsanto. If you were selling your crop for sure, and probably even if not.)

You cannot collect and regrow your own seed once contaminated with modified genetics, by doing so you infringe on patents or whatever, and you can't stop the contamination from happening either so ultimately nobody but Monsato is truly free to grow seed of GM crops any more. They can easily find their modified DNA in everyone elses veggies and that's all it takes.

In case you didn't already know...

Yep, has happened to innocent family farmers and it bankrupted them...and it was not intentional nor wanted. Why can Monsanto say, "That's our crop now" instead of the innocent farmer being able to sue Monsanto for contaminating and damaging their crop? If an organic is contaminated by Monsanto pollen, 90% of the time the seeds will not be viable thanks to the "Terminator gene" in most of their products. It was designed to stop personal seed harvesting and force me to buy company seeds.
FUCK THEM! I will still grow organic and collect seeds. If I have extra produce I will sell it at the farmers market or give it to the needy. My property is bordered by a commercial field that rotates from soybeans and corn every year. When they are doing corn, my sweet corn crop fails. During the off rotations, my sweet corn harvest is crap and that is even using fresh hybrid corn seed. I dry and liquid fertilize so I don't think that's a coincidence. My state is full of commercial GMO crops.
