Smoking a few probably won't harm the baby, but neither will having 2 beers. Yes alcohol is terrible for the babies, but just 2 beers? That would almost certainly be fine. Doesn't make it a good idea. I don't think I would smoke or take anything if I was preggers.

And to the people arguing about the guy saying he will drink with his sons but doesn't want the mother smoking while pregnant. That's not hypocritical at all. When kids are no longer kids and they are adults they can make their own choices about putting alcohol or other drugs into their system. A fetus doesn't have the option. How can you call it hypocritical? How are they even close to the same thing?

I hear a glass of wine here and there is fine. But its generally a good idea to stay away from alcohol all together.. During pregnancy its usually recommended to go with the following nutrient guide:

Weeks 1 - 12 : 100ml water + 15ml fiber + 35ml iron + 500mg carbs + micro nutrients
Weeks 12 - 24 : 180ml water + 36ml fiber + 60ml vitamins a & b + 225mg carbs + micro nutrients
Weeks 24 - 48 : 180ml water + 36ml fiber + 60ml vitamins a & b + 225mg carbs + 80ml sodium + micro nutrients
Last week : Flush with wine and bong hits

I think his point was that errors are usually something accidental. She didn't "accidentally" smoke weed, so it wasn't an error. There seems to be no error about it, it was a conscious choice to partake.

It shouldn't do much damage, and it probably won't. But why take that chance and risk fucking over your kid? Selfish and stupid. Even more so than asking for parenting advice on a pot growing forum.

I think the OP should buckle down and knock out this shit to get her masters. If you are gonna let a pregnancy get in the way of your goals then what kind of example would that set for your child when you look back at this. You can do both, women do it all the time.

and as for smoking while pregnant, buy a vaporizer if you want to do it, the smoke would be the most unhealthy aspect. Over the counter drugs can be unhealthy as well and cannabis can be substituted for some of them depending on the conditions and if vaporized be less harmful.
