Yep, it's all relative. IOW, it's about about plant requirements, nutritional needs, dependent on growth rate. A grower's first focus should be on providing nutrients to the root system, as nature intended it to be.

Speaking of organics, I just picked up a truckload (literally) of a friend's compost and got the analysis back from the Aggie bio-solids department. What a frickin' excellent profile! 13-5-8 NPK with the proper amounts of Ca, Mg, Zn,Fe and the other micros. This is what every grower, cannabis or otherwise, should seek - someone you can trust where you can buy a lot of compost cheap, and it's quality stuff because of what goes into, and I'm not talking Eye of Newt or some other crap like electrolytes. If you have a pickup and/or trailer and someone with a horse farm they'll load you up for free, just to get rid of the chit.
