Hey Homer thanks for stopping by, 6g would make me be veryyy happy hehehe. I'll be happy with whatever i get though, It will be the best weed i've ever smoked haha all the weed i've gotten are mostly mids and some dank but definately not like grow like we do dank haha. I'll try to cure it for atleast a week without taking a smoke off of it, Do you think by next saturday/sunday it will smell good/taste good and be smokeable, like not all of it just a tiny bit to test smoke haha i want to give you guys a smoke report.

yeah for sure it'll smell better after even just a couple days curing. definitely give us a smoke report as soon as you want... just save some for a proper cure!

we have had the "curing = more potent" discussion earlier in this thread, I still believe curing has little effect on potency. Can you explain what you mean by more potent?

yeah, let's not get too deep in this again (and you don't have to cure if you don't want to lol) . all i mean by "potent" is "it hits me harder and lasts longer". i've read both sides of the story, and i might have been ambivalent about it, except for the fact that i've experienced it for myself. drastic difference in the duration of the high between no cure (about 45 minutes) and 8 weeks cure (about 3 hours). plenty of trials of each kind. so, while i'm no expert on the scientific basis of curing (carboxylation processes and what not), i'm convinced by my own experience that curing improves the high, in both intensity and duration. so... i'll leave it at that, and everyone can try the experiment at home . peace.

I took the tub and drilled little drainage holes in the bottom of the tub with a knife and filled it with soil. To catch water when watering I just use the lid under it. I dont really water it till it drains though I water it enough with just enough (around 500-1000 ml a day) and I just check when the soil is a bit too dry to water again. Seems to be a good watering schedule working for me.

Have heard that for along time and my buddy believes the longer its cured the better it tastes and its effects so thats what he does. I have bought QP's (back in the day)and throw it into masson jars to sit while I smoked and it seemed like it got better and better as time went on..... (normally w/ me the more I smoke the same bud over and over it doesn't effect me the same but throught the 3or4 week period of it being in a jar and just picking bud out throwing it into the grinder it got stronger)

I wish i had a mason jar....I'm skeptical that this rubbermaid thing will make it taste different or somethign like that, hopefully not..

DAY 2 OF DRYING:

I can tell she has shrunk a tiny bit, and also she isn't as moist. I think i will put her in the curing container tomorrow night and hope it isn't to wet for it..
You guys think 3 days is enough for a small bud like Lucy?
Also the smell isn't as bad as it was yesterday or whenever i was complaining about it lol.

probably, but you should go by the "feel" of the bud. it should feel kinda crispy on the outside, but the stem should still be bendy...

Alright, yeah im trying to "feel" it and it feels different than yesterday but I'm not sure haha. And theres not much of a stem left for me to bend xD, I'll cut it in half or 3 pieces before i put in the Tupperware.

Have you ever looked into induction lights millyy? I think you could buy an 80w 2700k for that small PC case and fit it in there and that would give you all the light you need well for flowering any way. And happy smoking your first home grown.
