Is there a way to estimate ppm until i get a meter?
well one thing comes to mind.... if you have a hydroponic nute, or any nutes, that says "week two of flowering add 1tsp/gal or aprox 900-1100ppm(for example)". than you have to assume that 1tsp/gal would equal aprox 1k ppm. then 1/2 tsp/gal would aprox equal 500ppm. or 1/4 tsp/gal would give you aprox 250 ppm. does this make sense to you? just follow the directions and if anything be a little more conservative untill you get your meter. i hope this helped! Is there a way to estimate ppm until i get a meter?
Wow, sorry for confusing you bro. it was just an example of how to use ratios. it doesnt matter what the values are..... it could have been 123456 tablespoons/gal = 500ppm... (ya,, thats a kinda crazy number, but im We Tarded anyways ).. if you used half of the 123456 tablespoons/gal,which would be 61728sbsn/gal (123456tbsn/gal/2=61728tbsn/gal), it would give you 250ppm. ............. i guess what im trying to say is that if the manufacture says that x amount will give you a certain ppm then half x will give you half the ppm. 1/3x will give you 1/3ppm.k it just seemed like a small amount to me...haha but i dont know anything
