I used to be friend's with this kid Neil, cool fucking kid, but he would straight loose it, ive seen that kid break atleast 3 clubs and throw one in a lake. Ive seen people cry at tournament's as well, it's like fuck, man up, it's just a fucking game.

lol and on a side note I got some asshole on my street who plays golf.He comes out in the middle of the night all doped up to practice hitting it from his front steps lol.I live on a very busy street with all row houses and this guy sucks at golf.I cant count how many times he broke a window or nearly took someones head off.

Handicap allows you to compete against other golfers that are better than you. Just like bowling, if you shoot your handicap or better you're doing well.

For instance: The holes on a golf course are rated 1-18 in difficulty, 1 being most difficult. Lets say par on this golf course is 72. Two golfers are competing against each other for skins. One person is a scratch golfer, and one person is a 30 handicap. This means the scratch golfer averages 72 per 18 holes and the 30 handicap averages 102. The scratch golfer's score is his score. However the high handicapper gets -1 strokes on all 18 holes, and -2 strokes on the hardest 12 holes for his scorecard.

Lets say the person with a high handicap gets a 5 on a par 5 that is the hardest hole (1) on the course. The scratch golfer could get a 4 on the same hole. Even though the scratch golfer won the hole shooting 1 less stroke, the 30 handicap player gets -2 strokes resulting in a win for the hole.

I know this well because if it weren't for handicaps I would never win anything. LOL

We got a camping spot out in the woods were we take some old clubs and play in the ding weeds it's a blast!
We got water hazerds sand traps and lots of screwy hops on the balls. No holes closest to a flag is hard enugh.

Bajafox- Yeah man, i take my handicap serious in the extent as i hope to be better at the end of the year, but there are some people who freak out to the point of breaking their club's over tree's and shit like that, that may be when it's gone a little to far haha. I generally shoot in the mid 80's on a good day, mid 90's on a bad... But when you bring those big championship course's in it's a whole different story, those course's are fucking long, generally if i play bogey golf on those fucker's im happy.

I do understand the handicap thing a bit but over the 6 or 7 years that I've been golfing, I've never averaged out my score. Due to being unemployed for nearly 2 years I haven't been able to golf as much as I used to, hopefully that'll all change soon
