Obama takes delegate lead.

With a clean sweep of four states over the weekend, Obama takes the delegate lead with a very small margin. Clinton's campaign manager has stepped down.

On a side note, Ron Paul has decided not to run as independent. He literally can not win now. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for John McCain (as was most likely intended from the beginning). I really think it's time for the RP'ers to pick another horse. I understand wanting to stick with your principles and send a message, but do you really want to help someone who has said he would fight this was for another 100 years if that's what it took?

Yeah, that is quite ironic.. Well whatever, screw hillary. she is awful. she would be no where without her husband. Unlike Obama. Obama has less than 2 years of expirience in the senate... Mccain is okay. Ron PAUL was great, a true constitutionalist. Everyone knew he would not win though despite his beliefs.

McCain wants to continue with eternal war. That is not sustainable, either with Blood or treasure.

I agree. we need to get out of the middle east. 200 BILLION a year is ridiculous. That could save the lives of african society and do wonders other places.. the only good it has done was to get control of OIL, and look at the reprocutions of that, higher oil prices yay! Also, it was our intent to occupy the middle east, and over throw suddam hussein. The government has led us to believe "terrorist" attacked the twin towers.. .that is all a load of bs the american media has claimed only to have a reason to invade Iraq. check out this documentary, called Zeitgeist - The Movie, 2007

Welcome to the political section. I think you have a decent grasp of the situation. There are those on here that have been changing their views as time has proven the Bush-Cheney regime to be wrong. I have steadfastly held them accountable since coming to the site. They are the enemy of civilization, they may be responsible for 911, and they are certainly responsible for over a million deaths., 200 Billion a year could also rebuild all our infrastructure, including roads, bridges, schools, Firehouses and equipment etc. We ,have just flushed a trillion bucks down the shitter for the oil companies to be able to charge us 3.00+++ a gallon for gas. we are pretty stupid.

nope, its delegates and electoral colleges. The government tends to sway on the side of the smartest people should make the big decisions. It's the peoples jobs to elect the delegates.

what is obama's stand on pot?
Obama has officially that he will continue the war on drugs, but that he believes there should be lessened penalties for soft-core drugs and first time offenders. Keep in mind he has admitted using pot and cocaine in the past. You can most likely conclude from this that he will keep marijuana illegal, but stop federal government from interfering with state medical marijuana laws.

edit: OK, here is what wikipedia has to day about his views.

Barack Obama opposes legalization of marijuana, but supports easing the punishments for possession of small amounts of marijuana. Obama's campaign has said that as president, he "will review drug sentences to see where we can be smarter on crime and reduce the blind and counterproductive sentencing of non-violent offenders, and revisit instances where drug rehabilitation may be more appropriate." Obama has openly supported full decriminalization, which eliminates jail time and other penalties, including a criminal record, for possession of a small amount of marijuana,[108] but later revised his view, claiming an uncertainty over the definition of decriminalization.
Obama would support medical marijuana if the "science and doctors" indicate that it would be the best method of pain relief for the patient

Who controls the fair market price of gasoline, Mao??

Well, your right there.:mrgreen::mrgreen:
Remember we is all inclusive, that includes you dumb ass. There is no fair market price of Gasoline. The oil companies control the prices by claiming shortages and OPECs price gouging (Also controlled by Exxon, Shell, Standard Oil, etc) They have an addicted public and they price it as high as they can without causing a complete meltdown of the economy. But the Meltdown is coming anyway fueled by the high price of Gas. People that commute 40-60 miles a day, Not that uncommon, are paying 1.70 a gallon more now than when your Idol Bush took office, You can do the math but that is a couple a hundred bucks a month they don't have to spend on other things, hence the sluggish economy, and that's not counting the job displacements from 20.00 an hr. jobs to 7-8 an Hr jobs or no jobs at all. You idiots that think Bush has been good for america are braindead. Oh yeah, Idiota=Assholio.
