People give bad advice around here all the time so it's no surprise that someone said 'don't worry about pH'. Unless they were talking about soil, it's possible their soil and tap water buffers their nutes into a perfect range. Also, you always want to look where your advice is coming from. Ask to see their plants if they don't have a grow journal. Bold statements like that usually have shitty pics that follow .Why would a RIU member tell someone to not worry about pH? They went on to say that, "they have never checked their pH and are growing the best bud ever".
I've found DG to be incredibly stable with tap water and RO. So if you have some pH swings, check your feeding levels, or your meter in this case . But I love your feeding levels right now, you're set up for success. When I checked the pH today........... it had gone up 1.2 overnight.............. I started to pH down and thought I should calibrate my pH meter
I placed the pH7.0 control solution in a glass and took a reading............. meter read 8.2.......... oops........
All is right with world now
