I can't imagine I would ever trade that for a "real" job. I have not been able to smoke all day long since I was in high school - and even then I had to go to class once in a while.

Homer, amazing pics. I would expect your trichs to be clear at this point - mine are only about 75% cloudy with no amber and I am well ahead of you (started flowering January 1st). Once again, great job on the grow and on the journal.

thanks dread! good to hear that info on amnesia. since we picked them up from the same place, they must be very similar genetics right? so i guess i have about 5 weeks to go with her then, just like the original plans! blue cream should finish a week or two earlier, i can't wait. starting to count the days now...

by the way, i found my new favorite hydro store. it's in the peninsula so kind of a trek, but man i got such a sweet deal yesterday, check this out:

PANDA!! Haha, sweet to hear about the hydro store. I have a bunch around me, but the one I like the most is like 45 minutes away! Haha, I usually go to the local one, like 10 minutes away. Sweet deal, by the way. When first started going to hydro stores, I thought they would mark that shit up, but everywhere I look, the prices are always really reasonable, if not downright cheap, at the hydro stores! Except nutes, internet is cheaper there, but then again, internet is almost always cheaper for everything. But it's only like a 2 or 3 dollar mark up from the 'net prices for nutes ate my local hydro store. And fuck! I want samples! Did you have to talk the guys ear off, or did he just offer them??

it'll happen one day bro, one day... by 2012 they're saying over 50% of the u.s. population will live in medicinalized states, so it's only a matter of time. actually, legalization may not be far either, washington state and rhode island might beat cali on this one...

that's the crazy thing, i didn't even ASK for the sample. i went in looking for cloning gel, and the guy said, "well, we carry these three brands, but this one is my favorite and it's also the cheapest. actually you know what? why don't you take this free sample set that includes the gel plus three bottles of nutes". and i was like... "uhh.... ok.... what other free stuff you got?" haha... nah, i just picked up the panda and the other stuff and then he must've given me some other type of discount when i checked out just for the hell of it. i guess they're pretty new so they're trying to make some friends? either way, i like it! and i'll be back! peace brother, sorry about the herm, but no worries, my girls know how to share :) .

I live very very very close to washington most of my patients are washington state patients and I remember last years legalization initiative, it would have made ballot of I am sure if it had been petitioned sooner but they were late on the game last year. Now in washington there are two legalization initiatives possibly going toward the ballot.

I am a medical advocate but I also believe that recreational use should be an option, because the black market is more dangerous than any drug even the dreaded black tar. When dealing with the issues of addiction the first victim is ones self, when dealing with the scenario of a blackmarket when the monetary perceived value of something relatively benign becomes as valuable as a man's life the first victim is yourself still yes because of the loss of the perception of the value of life especially the life of ones fellow man but one thing can be sure there won't be just one victim in the case of the black market, and if the black market individual get's picked up well thats just a send off to felony trade school. regulation has a load of issues but I gotta see it as better than the alternative.

education is the answer, educate then allow people to make their own choices. Our country was founded by men of a different belief system perhaps but the same ideal "give me freedom or give me death", they make drug's illegal to save us from killing ourselves but in doing so have they not contradicted one of our greatest founding principals?

thanks millyy. they are certainly frostier, and even more importantly getting healthier each day. i love photographing them from every angl. it's one of my favorite hobbies, photographing these biatches ;)

I know it's a silly question, but it's getting to be about that time where you can tell how your plant is gonna do. I know Lefty is looking nice and swelling up fat, and soon i'll have a dry weight off Righty(RIP). Though I'm really gonna measure Righty in the amought of BHO she produces. Anyway, your buds are looking frosty, can't wait to smoke 'em! Haha, I'm planning on taking most of Lefty to Vegas, but i'll save a few grams for our session towards the end of April. Anyway, tonight will be a big night for updates for me, gotta do a rez change and switch the DWC to 12/12, but I'll be around!

you know it's so hard to estimate because i don't know how much more swelling to expect? i was actually trying to estimate the dry weight in my head as i was taking my 'graphs today, and i thought, suppose i chopped Today, i think i'd get somewhere around 20-24g (total). it's a low-ball estimate, but just to be pessimistic, i'll start there. of course, according to the books, they have 3 and 5 weeks to go, so normally you'd expect a doubling (so 40-48g total), which i would be more than stoked about. but i think last weekend's famine stunted them quite a bit, and the "bases" of the buds aren't that big, if that makes sense, and a lot of fan leaves were lost, especially on blue cream. also the colas' stems never got very fat. i could've vegged another week to build them up and then lollipopped extra little branches. but overall, if i can keep them healthy and growing for another couple weeks, i'll be happy. anywhere between 1 and 2 zips, would be great! as for end of april, i'm very stoked about that, brother! it's perfect timing too, cause my girls will both be chopped by then (i kind of have to regardless of how they look because of a trip i have in early may). so, it's on! i'm off with the gf for the evening but i'll check in later on for your updates.

not much new today in homerville. did a flush this morning, and will probably feed the girls tomorrow or the next day, and keep it rolling. today marks 6 weeks since the 12/12 switch, so blue cream is getting pretty close to the end...

how do you all feel about final flushing? i know most people flush for about 10 days give or take, but i've read more recently that a flush is not really necessary. i know that my first grow i flushed way too long (2+ weeks) and ended up losing yield because of it. so what i'm thinking so far, is i'm going to feed pretty much till 5 days before chop. then i'll give a big flush plus some molasses, 2 days later turn off lights for 72 hours of darkness, and then chop. i think this is similar to stoneyluv's method if i remember correctly. but i'm open to suggestions!
