moving my plants to new apartment

lol when i had an apartment inspection i hid my plants in my closet. the closet goes under the stairs like 10 ft back so i put the plants in there and sealed it off with good tape and plastic garbage bags. i then bought moving boxes and wrote on them before stacking up in there. also added a bunch of random stuff to make look like it was just a storage closet. worked like a charm.

Nope, but I've had people offer to help me move in, or come knocking on the door to welcome me in, etc...

The point is, growing in an apartment is not the wisest choice of locations. I think this was the overall gist of the responses.
Yea right on if someone where to ask that just be polite and say you're good. I agree it isn't the wisest choice but if you only do a plant or 2 and have the correct ventilation and carbon filter/air scrubber you should be ok.....SHOULD lol

hey shonoff,

how much do you know about grow set ups? aiming more towards carbon filters and air scrubbers
Well I'm still new to this as well, I'm currently getting everything together to start my first grow the 2nd week of April but I've been doing a ton of research to prepare. I purchased this exhaust fan/filter http://cgi.ebay.com/4-INLINE-FAN-CARBON-FILTER-COMBO-ODOR-CONTROL-SCRUBBER-/120624082653?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c15c16edd for my setup which is a smaller grow tent (for 2 plants). From what I have read it is most definitely a necessity to have a carbon filter as it gets rid of 99% of the smell, which I think is a must if you're in an apartment.

Now you can make one of those carbon filters for probably 30-40 bucks and attach it to an exhaust fan to save some money. I went with the setup I mentioned because its from HTG Supply and they seem to be pretty reputable.

i moved 16 2 to 3 footers but a 6? that's a lot of plant.

i just put them into large garbage bags, triple bagged them with a bunch of fabreeze and a few shots of ozium. put them into a u haul and moved them. it took me awhile to realize the uhaul smelled like a uhaul full of reefer. fortunatly the move was close. it's all about the odor.

worse case scenario, i'd cut that 6 footer and bang my head against the wall after the move.
